The gunman began shooting during a safety meeting with more than a dozen co-workers. Gunman was eventually arrested and the weapon was recovered. The weapon was a SKS 7/62, which is an assault rifle. The gunman used an assault rifle on customers before turning the gun on himself. The weapon used had been altered to function as an automatic weapon. The gunman had a record of mental illness. There was another shooting within an hours of this shooting. The police have reason to believe the killings are related to gang turf wars, however the first victim appeared to have nothing to do with the gangs.
