UCHING: Automotive specialist United Asia Motor never settles for anything less than the best for its clients. “Most of the customers who have visited our workshop for car services and repairs come back for their regular maintenance and check-ups,” notes United Asia Motor managing director Adrian Yap told The Borneo Post. “As customer’s feedback is the most convincing words of mouth for a business to grow, we aim to deliver the trust given by our customers by going the extra mile in advising clients on the appropriate car care and solutions for their car problems.” Yap noted that sometimes it is not about sending a car to a car workshop and get it fixed while observing customers nowadays are more demanding and they want to understand more about what’s exactly happening to their car or vehicle when there is a problem arises. Hence, he pointed out that a few experienced mechanics at his workshop will provide the necessary suggestion to customers while the company also provides training to the staff by sending them overseas to further gain knowledge and technical skills in particular on fixing imported cars. Meanwhile, some of the services offered by United Asia Motor include car wash, polishing, waxing, spraying, coating, welding, and so on. He said there are different packages being offered by the company and customers can choose their car services based on their preferences.
For car polishing, Yap said the company is using a renowned brand called GM-Tech, a German technology which can remove sanding marks, scratches, stains and so on depending on the conditions of the car. Apart from that, the company also provides installation services for a Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking system for vehicles. Known as Debezt GPS Tracking System, it can be installed in most of the vehicle and is also suitable for fleet vehicle management and staff logistic management by certain companies. Yap said the system is very reliable as it is able to track the movement of vehicles and its location in real time through a subsription service. “The system can track the location of a vehicle where it is moving. In the case that if a vehicle is stolen, the GPS system will remain active and vehicle owners can track the movement of their vehicle to their last location. “If the vehicle is transferred out of the border of the country,
the signal from the GPS system will still remain active within 200 miles out of the border,” he said. He said customers can track their vehicles using their mobile phones through short message service (SMS) as well as camera installed on computers. For the GPS system, Yap noted that certain transportation and logistics companies have engaged them to install the device in order for the company or the employer to monitor the workflow of their workers for example, whether a bus driver adhere to the speed limit or over speeding and delivery staff who is working or not.
