First off we would like to take the time to thank our customers, friends, family and anyone who has expressed interest in our program over the years; your generosity and support never goes unnoticed and we greatly appreciate your business. Without the support from each and every one of you we can’t do what we do. Like any other farmer or rancher there never seems to be any down time. Riley is around the farm full time and takes on more responsibility each year with day to day activities and sales preparation along with customer service. Cody is enjoying his job at Hoffman Ranch in Nebraska and looking forward to having him around home leading up to the sale. We are a family run operation and we are very passionate about what we are doing around here as the next generation becomes more involved. There isn’t a day that goes by that cows aren’t on the topic and how we can make the best possible product for you. We have been in the cow business our entire life and our mission has never changed… We do what our customers want and demand. We raise cattle that are profitable for the commercial cowman. Yes, over the years we have shown alot and been successful but showing cattle to us is showcasing our program and displaying the type of cattle we raise! Never once have we lost sight of functionality and real world characteristic, the same cattle we show are the same kind that flat out work and we want pastures full of them! WE DON’T RAISE SHOW CATTLE WE SHOW THE CATTLE WE RAISE. We take great pride in the fact the cattle we show are the same cattle that have worked well for both the commercial cowman and seed-stock producer across the country. We raise cattle that are functional and convenient. We have never chased new unproven fads or extremes and never will! Our cows graze on native grass until mid-December trailed home and put on Alfalfa grass hay and water out of the river. Moderate framed, big bodied, sound structured cows with excellent feet and udders is what we strive for. These cows will wean a big attractive calf that puts extra dollars in your pocket! Our cows have built this place, hardly any females ever sold! We are strong believers you need to keep your very best females each and every year to build your cow families and bring you the best set of bulls we possibly can. We take pride in knowing our feet and udders are as good as any cowherd in the country. YES, YOU CAN BUY A BULL ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY BUT WE STRONGLY BELIEVE OUR COWHERD SETS US APART! In our opinion a bull is only as good as his mother. The bulls for 2020 have had us excited from day one. From keeping our best females, it allows us to increase our bull numbers and do it with added quality and maternal strength. This year we bring to you many sire groups; Alliance, Affiliate, Kill Switch, Royal Flush, 298Z and Bentley. We are also very excited about our first set of sons to sell off WS EPIC and BCLR AMBITION, these two red bulls were added to our program for impressive phenotype and total outcross genetics to Canada. Our Angus division is also growing in numbers this year, we had a lot more heifer calves but the bulls we had represent exactly the kind of cattle we like. Moderate birth weights, impressive performance with added eye appeal and hair. The Angus bulls are sired by Mich Wheatland Leading Edge, Insight, Bluechip and Claussen. Our Angus cattle are selected from some of the most proven and elite cow families across North America. Whether you are looking for a purebred Simmental, Angus, 7/8, 3/4’s or half-bloods we have bulls for everyone in all different price ranges. These bulls are developed in large paddocks where exercise consumes a large portion of their day. They’re fed a formulated grain ration that we mix ourselves and given free choice hay and mineral. We have gotten a lot of very positive feedback on how the bulls hold up and the longevity is second to none. You won’t find the 1700+ pound yearling bulls here because it’s not what we are after and it’s sure not realistic and economical to the commercial cowman to ensure longevity and soundness. I know when you read the sale report the average may seem fairly high, but we sell some awfully good bulls from $4500-7500 making them affordable for everyone. It’s no secret we are fortunate enough to sell some higher priced bulls to purebred breeders, but that’s doing our job as a progressive seedstock producer. The bulk of our customers are commercial cattleman that run 200+ cows. Seedstock from Wheatland have enjoyed much success in breeding programs across the country, AI studs and cow shows across the nation but most importantly they have worked well for the commercial cowman who provides the best testing ground for any operation. “Necessity makes us stronger and smarter!” This phrase could have and was used several years ago when a couple of youngsters were trying to build, what was then, a dream. By using cowboy sense and breeder understanding, Vernon and Denise, along with their two boys built a cow herd and a program. The cow herd was built using superior females multiplied as cow families.When asked a time or two to sell a few females, the answer was a sharp two letter word…“the cows make the bulls!” Throughout the years, especially once Riley and Cody-Ray were of age, Wheatland would exhibit at fall shows. Competitive…hell yea!They have won more Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor awards than any other breeding operation. Vernon will tell you that shows are a measure of how you progress within your own breed. The link with Michelson Angus has grown into a win-win combination as both use the same mentality in moving forward. The Angus program is small but one of the best. The new decade lineup is the stoutest in their history and that’s a big statement. For those who think that these high quality bulls are expensive, consider that at one time you could buy a new pickup for $5,000 to $6,000 and it wouldn’t make you any money, but on sale day each and every one of you will have the opportunity to decide at what level you want to participate.

WHEATLAND HERD HEALTH
Our team at Ranchland Veterinary Services is proud to have started working with Wheatland Cattle Co. over the past few years. During that time, we have seen their genetics be used extensively throughout many other high quality seedstock operations and commercial cow-calf operations. Their reputation for superior genetics, coupled with high quality customer service speaks for itself. We visit the Wheatland Cattle Co ranch several times throughout the year to ensure the health status of all animals in the operation. We have worked closely to design a customized vaccine and deworming strategy for each class of cattle based on the conditions, ensuring the cattle perform as expected when reaching your ranch. All breeding females are on a Zoetis health program ensuring optimal protection from BVD PI calves and ensuring high rates of passive transfer of immunity to calves. From birth to weaning all bulls are provided with a vaccine strategy that ensures these cattle are ready to face any disease challenge that comes their way. Proper nutrition, high health status, and a lifetime of genetic selection has lead to highly fertile cattle. It is a pleasure working with donor cattle, and bulls that just plain produce. We routinely test Wheatland herd bulls at ranches in the surrounding area that are well into breeding careers. Fertile animals with sound structure results in tremendous longevity and functionality. Ranchland Veterinary Services is a large animal clinic based out of Carnduff, SK. Our Practice focuses on bovine reproduction working out of our brand new donor facility. We are a CFIA approved laboratory for embryo export and provide a recipient herd for our clients. We provide in house and on farm donor flushing and embryo transfer services. Our mobile lab is also equipped to perform on farm Ownerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Use Semen Collection services.

TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. BIDDING: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes – Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final. ANNOUNCEMENTS: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures. BREEDER’S GUARANTEE: Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze. EXCEPTION GUARANTEE: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Simmental Association and the Canadian Angus Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. Pedigree Estimates: Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.

T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
