MATERIALS & MAINTENANCE POWDER COATED ALUMINIUM Fluidized powder coating applied to the aluminium structure by electrostatic spray. FIBRE MAX&LUUK fibre is a polyethylene synthetic wicker that has been developed to meet all standard specifications for outdoor furniture. The fibre has a green footprint and has a REACH certificate. The latest technology has been designed to create a synthetic wicker that is more durable, insensitive to temperature differences, free from cracking, splintering and corrosion yet still retain a natural look and feel. MAX&LUUK fibre is fabricated to endure rigorous outdoor conditions such as sunlight UV exposure, extreme temperatures variances, mold and mildew. It is resistant to moisture, sea water and chlorinated water. MAINTENANCE ADVICE: it is designed to be as low maintenance as possible. We recommend a quick wash with a non-foaming mild detergent every three months. If the fibre needs to be cleaned, simply wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth. A soft nylon brush or a low pressure air hose can also be used to clean between the weaving.
Overview
TEXTILENE Textilene is a woven polyester fibre protected by a PVC coating. The fibres are then melted together in order to obtain an exceptionally solid fibrous substance that is permanent resistant to stretching and immune to cracking. The plastic coating guarantees exceptional resistance to climatic conditions and UV-exposure. The fact that there is no moisture absorption results in quick-drying action and little sensitivity to staining. MAINTENANCE ADVICE: easy to clean with a Multi Cleaner. POLYETHYLENE Polyethylene is the perfect material for the rotational moulding process used for the Cooper series. It is a durable, easily recyclable plastic that is UV resistant. The combination of materials chosen and production process results in a long-lasting, hard-wearing product. MAINTENANCE ADVICE: sleek surfaces and a rounded design make the Cooper series easy to clean, requiring only (warm) water and a mild detergent. If very dirty, the furniture can also be spray cleaned using a low or high-pressure cleaner. Both the lounge chair and sofa feature a drainage system in the seats in the form of an aluminium tube. This tube should be punctured occasionally (using a stick, for example) in order to remove leaves and grime.

TEAK The teak is a special selection of certified sourced teak from West Java and Sumatra. An aging process is applied which is done by machine and a final hand touch. Teak furniture does not require any special maintenance routine or any additional protection apart from occasional cleaning. Left to age naturally outside, teak will gradually change from its original colour to a soft, silver-grey as the pigments in the surface layer of the wood begin to fade away. Every piece of vintage teak has its own character and structure. Small inlays can be used to fill up minor existing imperfections and give the product a naturally aged look. When purchasing this product you are guaranteed to have a unique table. Teakwood is a natural material and cracks in the end grain of components, for example legs and laminated tops, may appear due to changes in temperature and humidity and the consequent change in moisture content of the wood. Fissures will open in the end grain, this is known as checking. This is normal, especially in heavier components and it will not affect the serviceability of your furniture. MAINTENANCE ADVICE: we recommend that you allow your teak furniture to weather naturally this way and simply clean thoroughly three or four times a year with Teak Cleaner to remove accumulated dirt. Under no circumstances should a power washer be used to clean your product. Treating with teak oil or other preservatives is not necessary; it will not extend the life of your furniture and is purely cosmetic. We do not recommend oiling your furni-
ture. If you intend to store your furniture over the winter, we recommend that you do so in a watertight garden shed or garage. However, we advise that you do not move teak furniture from the garden straight into a heated indoor room for storage, as the sharp differences in temperature and humidity may cause the wood to split. GALVANISED STEEL: This is made from premium metal, which has been treated with hot dip galvanized treatment, which is the strongest treatment you can get. It is fabricated to endure rigorous outdoor conditions such as sunlight UV exposure and extreme temperatures variances. MAINTENANCE ADVICE: if it needs to be cleaned, we recommend a quick wash with a non-foaming mild detergent, simply wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth.
