PRODUCING HIGH-PERFORMANCE BATTERIES Successful R&D programmes led the group to found twenty years ago, Batscap, a wholly owned subsidiary entirely devoted to the development and production of electricity storage components. LMP (Lithium Metal Polymer) technology is now at the heart of the Bluecar and Bluebus electric vehicle development
programmes, as well as of the stationary batteries for private individuals and institutions ones. The group is increasing its LMP batteries production capacities in its two factories located in Brittany (Pen-Carn-Ergué Gabéric) and in Canada (Montréal) with the objective to attain a production of 40,000 batteries a year, by 2013.

THE ENERGY OF THE FUTURE Oil depletion, constant fuel costs rise and increased pollution of the atmosphere justify the development of alternative energy sources. After twenty years of research, Bolloré Group has designed a unique technology: the LMP (Lithium Metal Polymer) battery. The LMP battery charges in eight hours, from a 220 V, 16A power supply. Its lifespan is around 200,000 km, or… five times around the world. Thanks to its “all solid” design, it is safer than any other new generation battery. PROVEN RESULTS ON THE GROUND LMP batteries have powered the Autolib’ service cars since December 2011. After one year of service, the electric battery has kept its promises. Regardless weather conditions, number of users, urban or open road conditions, nothing has affected its performances. Through intensive usage, LMP batteries have demonstrated their reliability, their performance and their durability. Between them, the cars in service have already covered 5,000,000 km since December 5, 2011.

THE ELECTRIC BLUECAR COMFORT AND HANDLING Bluecar is a four-seater, comfortable and easy to handle. With the battery specially placed under the passenger seats, thus providing a low centre of gravity and perfect weight distribution, the vehicle enjoys exceptional handling. Thanks to the small electric motor and ideal location of batteries, centred between the two axles, the Bluecar presents a spacious interior.
SAFETY Safety is intrinsic to all elements of the Bluecar. The LMP battery provides maximum safety. Furthermore, the car is fitted with all equipment designed for the protection and comfort of all passengers: driver airbag, electric power steering,
and even a soft buzzer to give pedestrians a gentle warning when the Bluecar is approaching. An Isofix fixing system is installed on the vehicle’s back seat to fit a booster seat for children.
COMMUNICATION Bluecar is also a little marvel of technology - with its embedded computer and GPS, users may access all the information they need. The top screen provides all the main information on the state of the car: speed, autonomy, battery levels. The central touch-screen is the core of control system; it features all functions related to comfort and drivability: temperature controls, sound system, GPS, operator call, hands-free phone, driving modes (eco, sport or ice).

BLUECAR IS AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE RENTAL FLEXIBLE AND TAILORED OFFER Private customers can now enjoy a 100% electric personal car with an all in one offer. The maximum rental length is twenty months maximum, with a minimum three months minimum enrolment, after which customers can end the contract any time. Our offer • Providing the vehicle. • All-risk insurance, taking into account the driver’s risk profile and the deductible requested. • A parking badge allowing parking on Autolib’s stations, for a duration of no longer than twenty-four continuous hours, so as not to disrupt the Autolib’ service and to recharge the vehicle on the Autolib’ Service third party stations.

AUTOLIB’: PERFORMANCE, EASE OF USE AND FREEDOM A symbol of transformations in urban transport, the service provides users with unparalleled freedom. A flexible offer that allows users to subscribe for one day, one week, one month or one year, depending on each their needs. To subscribe, you just need to visit an Autolib’ kiosk with a valid driver’s license, ID, and credit card, or go online before collecting your badge at the subscription kiosk. Once equipped with a personal badge, you can rent a Bluecar directly at one of the 650 rental stations, for

a minimum fee of €5 per half-hour. After use, simply drop of the vehicle at the closest Autolib’ station and connect it to the charging point to pass it on to the next user. This car-sharing network, developed for the first time on the scale of a major city, provides a one-way mobility service, with no obligation to return the vehicle to its starting point. It represents 90% of rentals. It is also possible to reserve your car setting off, or its space on arrival, using the Autolib’ application (iPhone, iPad and Android) or from the car, using the blue button, to book a parking space on arrival.

THE BOLLORÉ GROUP: EVER GREATER INNOVATIONS FOR THE GOOD OF THE ENVIRONMENT THE BLUEBUS : LMP TECHNOLOGY FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL AUTHORITIES The Bolloré Group has entered into a partnership with the Gruau Group. Together, they have developed the electric Bluebus, in production since 2011. With a 22 passenger capacity, Bluebus is a 100% electric vehicle, designed for urban transport. friendly, its aluminium-steel-composite bodywork and its batteries are 98% recyclable. For these reasons, Bluebus was selected to transport visitors in the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay in Normandy. With these assets, Bluebus is the ideal form of public transport for all towns which favour social and environmental concerns in their public transport policies.
