To add brightness and draw attention to her eyes, hair colorist Aaron Knox used Goldwell color to take Kristen’s natural base two levels deeper. She added lowlights and highlights in the same color family for dimension. Stylist Tj Knox gave Kristen's hair a variation of a graduated bob, and added soft bangs to give the classic cut a more modern appeal, and to provide movement and texture. He applied Antidote as a foundation, and a bit of Kérastase Oléo-Relax to smooth her hair; he then blow-dried it straight using a Denman brush, followed by a small round brush. After using a flatiron, he applied Label.m Shaper pomade, to create a ‘piece-y’ textured look.

About face: To create Kristen’s freshly tanned glow, makeup artist Michael Brunetto applied
a light tinted moisturizer followed by face and bronzing powders to her cheeks. To play up Kristen’s eyes, he created a smoky effect using shadows in shades of gold, bronze and white gold, along with a waterproof liner. He applied invisible band lashes using surgical glue for a neat, perfect look, and contoured her brows with a colored powder. He finished with a neutral lip liner and color. Clothes call: Kristen’s clothing and jewelry are from the salon’s Jewels of Sky Boutique. Her light-colored T-shirt complements her newly ‘tanned’ complexion and “the scarf we chose highlights her face, while a silver heart necklace is youthful yet sophisticated,” says boutique owner Lynn Balbinder. The result: a fresh romantic daytime look.
