Cristaldi initially joined the Timberwolves organization in 2000 as public relations manager for the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx, before transitioning to public relations manager for the Timberwolves in 2003. He was promoted to director of public relations in 2005 and added leadership of the organization’s community relations and publications departments in 2006.

A native of Dedham, Massachusetts, Cristaldi earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and English from Marquette University. He and his wife, Heidi, have two daughters, Bella and Mia.

PLAYERS

Before going to Minnesota, Cristaldi served as director of public relations and radio announcer for the Continental Basketball Association’s Rockford Lightning from 1998-2000. He also spent the summer of 1998 working in the public relations and marketing departments for the Las Vegas Stars of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League.

Mike Cristaldi is in his first season as Vice President of Communications for Bobcats Sports & Entertainment. He comes to Charlotte after 13 years with the Minnesota Timberwolves, including the last six as director of public relations and community relations. Cristaldi oversees the organization’s basketball and business media and public relations efforts, serving as the primary liaison between the team and the local, national and international media. He is also responsible for strategic planning, as well as day-to-day media operations, including coordinating press conferences and interviews for the team’s executives, coaches and players.

RECORDS

Josh Rosen is in his seventh season with the Bobcats and his third as Director of Communications after being promoted to the position in January 2012. Rosen, who joined the organization as Basketball Communications Manager in August 2007, assists with the team’s day-to-day media relations efforts, including overseeing game-night media operations and credentialing, writing press releases and game notes, and fulfilling interview and statistical requests. He also serves as editor of the Bobcats media guide and compiled the team’s first-ever playoff media guide in 2009-10.

A native of Charlotte, Rosen is a 2002 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he majored in sport and entertainment management and spent three seasons as a student manager for Coach Eddie Fogler’s men’s basketball team.

Prior to joining the Bobcats, Rosen spent more than four years at Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Daily, including two and a half years as Assistant Managing Editor. His previous experience also includes one season as Media Relations Coordinator for the Carolina Cobras of the Arena Football League and two seasons as Public Relations Assistant for the Charlotte Sting of the WNBA.

Jerome Hubbard is in his second year with the Bobcats as Communications Coordinator and his fourth year overall in professional sports. Hubbard, who joined the organization in January 2012, assists with the day-to-day media efforts, including producing game notes, coordinating and facilitating interviews and helping with compiling the media guide. Prior to joining the Bobcats, Hubbard most recently worked in the football media relations department of the New York Giants during the 2011 season that culminated with the team winning Super Bowl XLVI. He also worked with the Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Rams, Chicago White Sox, San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders. The Oakland, California native received his bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University, where he wrote and served as the sports editor for the school newspaper, and earned his master’s degree from the University of California-Berkeley in 2011.
