In his three years as head coach, Walker led the Panthers to a 22-9 record, the school’s first National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) Victory Bowl championship and a pair of Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championships (2010, 2012). He was named UMAC Coach of the Year in 2010 and NCCAA Coach of the Year in 2012.

As a position coach, Walker led three student-athletes to UMAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Others under Walker’s direction went on to lead the UMAC in multiple statistical categories, earn AllUMAC honors and hold Greenville career records. Walker also led Greenville’s offense to new heights, ranking No. 3 nationally in 2011, led by the No. 5 rushing offense in the country. In 2012, the rushing offense ranked No. 3 in the country at season’s end. Walker led monumental steps for the program such as creating a junior varsity team, implementing a team leadership development plan and raising the team’s grade-point-average from 2.1 to 2.8 during his first full season as head coach.
