A request for information to the Galway 2020 Office received the following reply from P. Philbin, Bid Director: “As the bid is a competitive process we do not realise any information around our costs etc. for phase 1.” Note 2. Source: Report to the Arts, Culture, Recreation and Community SPC dated 13 April 2014 by Assistant City Manager, Brendan Kenny. An email to R. Yeates, Bid Director received no reply. Note 3. Email in response to request for information from Michael Quinn, Bid Director, dated November 4, 2015. Note 4. Source: Limerick City and County Council Budget 2015 noted that €600,000 is set aside in order to co-fund the bid process and to set up a fund in order to deliver an ECOC programme. An email for information to M.Fitzpatrick, Bid Director received no reply.
