Jonathan Leder found himself in a darkroom developing his own photographs for the first time when he was 15. It was in 1987.And we imagine that he must have seen bodies of women appearing on the film, because let’s be honest, New Yorkers have never been good at photographying other things. And we could allow ourselves to wonder if he kept from his teenage years the unstoppable and impossible fantasies, as he has been trying hard for 25 years to strip women off no matter where , no matter when but not no matter how.

Jonathan Leder se retrouve dans une chambre noire à développer ses propres photos pour la première fois à l’âge de 15 ans. C’était en 1987. Et on se doute qu’il devait voir apparaître sous ses yeux des corps de femmes, parce qu’à dire vrai, le NewYorkais n’a jamais su photographier autre chose. Et l’on pourrait le soupçonner d’avoir gardé de son adolescence, les fantasmes effrénés et impossibles à assouvir propres à cet âge, tant il s’évertue depuis maintenant 25 ans à dénuder les femmes n’importe où, n’importe quand mais pas n’importe comment.
