Andrew Stoever

Andrew Stoever is a welding instructor at our AMTC campus in Milton. He graduated with a technical diploma in welding from Blackhawk in 2007 and credits and attributes much of his success in his career to the guidance and mentorship provided by his instructor. Andrew would love nothing more than to be a positive mentor for future students. We asked Andrew some questions to get to know him better. What skills do you possess that you believe will help you in this position? I have 18 years in the manufacturing field. I currently hold my CWI, CWE as well as my CSA level II credentials. What is something Blackhawk offers that you feel other colleges do not? Student support and resources. What is your life like outside of work? Family? Adorable pets? I have a wife and 3 children. We also have a dog and a snake for pets. I enjoy fishing and I am a home theater hobbyist. What is your favorite quote? “The wrinkles on your face are strength in your mind.” If you could have dinner with anybody, alive or dead, who would you choose? Three of my grandparents.
