In arguably one of the most magnificent cities in the globe, time is your enemy. You

could spend the spend the entire summer exploring museums, café’s, shops and riding up and down the canals but never scratch the surface. While shopping, nightclubs and the museums are absolutely part of the attraction. Spend a little in this cosmopolitan city and you’ll find yourself eating a crepe or two. Here’s how to spend three days when you have limited time. You didn’t really think I was going to spend my vacation writing. However, if you’ve got 72 hours to spare. Try this as a game plan but don’t be afraid to deviate. Most importantly, enjoy yourself and take plenty of pictures.

First 24 Hours Eiffel Tower -

Rise early and go check out this incredible attraction. It is impossible to go to Paris and not see the Eiffel Tower. Whether you ride the elevator to the top or simply tour the grounds near the tower. It commands attention. The Eiffel Tower represents the heart of Paris. It’s magnificent and is the heart of the city with a magnificent light show.

Afternoon & Evening - Shopping on the Champs De-

Second 24 Hours Disneyland Paris –

Rise and shine – This day begins at 9am with a 30 minute ride to Disneyland Paris and concludes at 7pm with a return trip to Paris. Yes, I took my kids because it was economical affordable. Four people cost $300 for 2 parks including transportation. I have kids and it was cheaper than travelling to Florida on a separate occasion. Disneyland Paris is celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year, there’s no better time to plan a trip! Plus it’s in Paris. The merchandise, and unique snacks and beverages, the celebrations are not to be missed.

Last 24 Hours The Louvre - The Louvre Museum takes you through the history of France. The museum is a simply a massive collection of artifacts, painting and crown jewelry that speaks to the history of the city and the country. Kings and revolutionaries. The reigns of Louis XIII and Louis XIV a saw major expansion of the Louvre and a linking of the palaces and halls, which make up the museum today. It’s massive and worth spending a day. Perhaps dinner at any of the restaurants along St. Germain would be a perfect cap to a wonderful day or a stroll along the River Seine. urbansuburbanmagazine.com 3


Arc de Triumph

Other things to explore should you wish to substitute Disneyland Paris or not desire to spend all day in a museum.

The Arc de Triumph has served as a triumphant symbol of victory for French troops returning home from battle. Napoleon ordered the Arc de Triumph’s construction in 1809 to celebrate the triumph of the Republican armies. Unfortunately for Napoleon, his empire soon began to collapse. Consequently the Arc was not completed until much later in 1836.

Notre Dame Cathedral – Visit this famous cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, which began in the 12th century, stands on the Île de la Cité and is the symbolic heart of the city. The lines may long ,but it will be well worth it. 4 urbansuburbanmagazine.com
