PARTNERSHIP InspireHealth and Vacay.ca have teamed with Fresh Air Publishing to create a cookbook focused on providing healthy recipes and expert nutritional resources for all Canadians. We have selected 20 of the leading chefs from across Canada to relate their stories about the importance of nutrition in their lives and their work. The cookbook will be on retail shelves such as Chapters and Indigo and online retailers such as Amazon by late 2016. Proceeds will be used to fund InspireHealth’s initiative of providing top level supportive cancer care for Canadians. Your brand has the opportunity to participate in this exciting, worthy and attention-grabbing project. InspireHealth is a not-for-profit healthcare organization whose aim is to provide the best supportive care possible for individuals and their families living with a diagnosis of cancer. We work together with patients, family doctors and oncologists to create an individualized lifestyle program that includes recommendations on exercise, nutrition and stress reduction. Our services are free and are accessible to all Canadians across the country. We have over 10,000 members who access our services which are provided by a team of physicians, nutritionists, clinical counsellors and exercise therapists.

Vacay.ca is the Concierge to Canada. Officially launched in January 2012, Vacay.ca has built a following of sophisticated users thanks to high-quality content produced by recognized travel experts. Our engaging content speaks to the most interesting, exciting and unique places to stay, dine and enjoy in Canada. Our sister site, TopRestaurantsInCanada.com, was a spinoff of our most popular content feature. The Editorial Team in the Inspired Cooking project will be led by Adrian Brijbassi. Adrian has won several awards including the NATJA gold prices and created the Top 50 Restaurants in Canada Guide. He co-founded Vacay.ca with his wife Julia Pelish-Brijbassi, an award-winning photographer. Fresh Air Publishing is a content-producing and publication fulfillment company that inspires through aspirational media in all its forms, connecting to target audiences by building consumer relationships, driving sales and brand loyalty.

VIKRAM VIJ

Vikram Vij had a revelation. Like many ideas with hefty results, this one started with something small. After creating one of Canada’s most celebrated restaurants and reinventing Indian cuisine at the same time, Vij envisioned taking his food to places where it was not possible for him to operate. His vision for Vij’s at Home, a line of frozen food products, was to bring flavourful Indian cuisine to home cooks across Canada.


DALE MACKAY

From fry cook to world-class chef. Canadian Dale MacKay – winner of the first Top Chef in Canada in 2001 – knows the kitchen from bottom to top, drawer to drawer. Surviving and thriving in the fast-paced world of Gordon Ramsay’s kitchens at his restaurants in Tokyo, New York, and London in the early 2000s, the pride and joy of Saskatoon brought his diverse talent home to Canada nearly 10 years ago where he has played a key role in 13 restaurant openings.

SMITH

One of Canada’s best-known chefs, Micheal Smith is a passionate advocate for simple, sustainable home cooking and an inspiration for families creating their own healthy food lifestyle. The host of Chef Michael’s Kitchen, Chef Abroad and Chef at Home, he’s also a judge on Chopped Canada and has travelled the world for his innovative new web series Lentil Hunter. Michael is Prince Edward Island’s food ambassador, Canada’s best selling cookbook author, innkeeper, educator, professional chef and home cook.
