Yummy ideas that will add a festive touch to your Xmas breakfast table!
Ingredients Makes 25-30 filled cookies
Why not embellish your every day crockery for the occasion? Dip the rim of a cup in milk and then swirl around a plate of colored sugar. Stick foam letters on the front to complete the look!
100 grams egg whites 200 grams powdered sugar 25 grams granulated sugar 110 gr almonds ( blanched and ground ): Blend the almonds using a blender and sift. Process it again with powdered sugar, to get rid of any lumps. 1/2-1tsp Peppermint extract red food coloring
How to make your Macarons: 1. Whip egg whites, then gradually add granulated sugar, to get a glossy meringue with stiff peaks. 2. Add the almond mixture into to the meringue, give it a fairly quick fold to break some of the air and then gently fold until you obtain a batter that falls back on itself after counting to 10. Add your food coloring and peppermint extract. This whole process should not take more than 50 - 55 folds. Test a small amount on a plate: if the tops flattens on its own you are good to go, otherwise, give a couple more folds with the spoon. 4. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a plain round tip, and pipe small rounds (1 1/2�) onto parchment paper lined baking sheets. 5. Let the macarons sit out for 1 hour to ensure the shells dry a bit. 6. Preheat the oven to 300 F. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on their size. 7. Let them cool, then fill with white chocolate ganache and roll in crushed candy cane.

Ingredients: 250 ml of whiskey (brandy, cognac, rum or vodka work too) 1 can condensed milk 2 whole eggs 400 ml double cream 2 tablespoons of instant coffee powder 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon almond essence
1. Blend all the ingredients together 2. Pour into sterilised bottles 3. Stick bottle labels on with glue or double-sided tape 4. Taste at once! You can use an egg substitute.

1. In a small saucepan add 1 can condensed milk, 1 Tb sp butter or margarine, 2 Tb sp desiccated coconut 2. Stir until bubbling and the mixture comes off the bottom of the pan 3. Pour into serving pots and sprinkle with edible silver beads and more desiccated coconut. Serve chilled. YUM!
Cover cupcakes with royal icing then decorate with licorice black ties and edible silver beads!
