Bijzondere Collecties UvA

The heritage collections of the University of Amsterdam contains two million items in more than a thousand sub-collections. The heritage items in Special Collections, the Artis Library and the Allard Pierson Museum represent a broad range of disciplines in the sciences and the arts and include numerous irreplaceable works of museum quality, dating from centuries ago and today. The collections are vital to education and research, but are also accessible to the general public in exhibitions.
