A consistent offensive force for the Irish throughout her career … batted .386 with 71 hits, 11 doubles, 28 RBI and a school-record 32 stolen bases in 2005 … led the 2005 team in several offensive categories including bating average, slugging percentage (.500), on-base percentage (.424), stolen bases, at-bats (184) and runs scored (40) … captained the team to a 45-13 record in 2005 with a 16-2 home field mark and a 16-2 record in BIG EAST play along with the conference regular-season title … became the sixth Irish softball player to earn multiple All-America honors in a four-year career along with Andrea Loman (2002, 2003), Jarrah Myers (2001, 2002), Katie Marten (1995, 1996), Terri Kobata (1994, 1995) and Jennifer Sharron (2000, 2001) … completed her career as the all-time leader in hits (284) and stolen bases (76) while ranking in the top five in several categories including batting average (2nd - .368), at bats (3rd - 771) and runs (3rd - 161) … also ranks in the top 10 all-time in doubles (9th - 37), triples (7th - 9), home runs (9th - 13), and RBI (10th - 101) … garnered NFCA first team all-Mideast Region honors from 2002-2005 … named the BIG EAST Player of the Year in 2004 … one of four Irish players in program history to earn first team All BIG EAST honors all four years of competition (2002-2005) … voted to the 2002 BIG EAST all-Rookie Team … awarded the Notre Dame Monogram Club Most Valuable Player in her senior season (2005) … scored four times against Valparaiso on April 23, 2003, tied for the most runs scored in by an Irish player in a single game.

The fifth-year senior put up huge offensive numbers in 2011 with a .383 batting average and .651 slugging percentage to earn third team AllAmerican honors … accounted for 67 hits, 11 doubles, 12 home runs, 64 RBI and 114 total bases in her final season with the Irish and drew 17 walks and was fanned on just 10 occasions in 175 at-bats … also the 2011 BIG EAST Player of the Year, a first-team all-league choice and a second-team all-region selection … became the seventh Irish softball student-athlete to be named BIG EAST Player of the Year and the first since Megan Ciolli copped the hardware in 2004 … Melanie Alkire (1999, 2000) and Meghan Murray (1996, 1997) are the only Notre Dame players to win the award on multiple occasions … the BIG EAST record holder with 82 career RBI in league play … also seventh in doubles (19) and home runs (15) … hit .475 with a league-high 29 RBI this year with a league-best eight home runs and 59 total bases in conference play … one of a record six all-region selectees in 2011 for the Irish … ended career as school’s record holder in RBI (214), 40 more than any other player in program history … second all-time with 51 doubles and third with 243 games played … her .580 slugging pct. ranked fourth on the alltime charts while her 403 assists ranked third … set a school record with 68 RBI in 2010 while slugging at a .746 rate that same season …shares singleseason home run record with Christine Lux (17) … ended the 2011 season as the nation’s active leader with 243 consecutive starts.

Earned third-team honors as a junior to become just the second shortstop (and first true-shortstop as Melanie Alkire played shortstop and pitched) in program history to be named All-American … also earned first team all-BIG EAST accolades and first team NFCA all-region honors in 2010 … led the BIG EAST with a .460 batting average in league play while ranking second with a .561 on-base pct. and eight doubles … overall, the team co-captain batted .372 with 15 doubles, two triples and four home runs … slugged at a .571 clip with an on-base pct. of .472, tying for third on the program’s singleseason list in the latter category … also had 58 hits and scored a schoolrecord 54 runs … her 0.95 runs-per-game average ranked 33rd nationally at the time of receiving the honor … her career numbers after her junior season were quite indicative of the steady progress she made in three years with the Irish … she doubled her sacrifice total (10) from 2009 and stole six more bases (13) than she did as a sophomore … Fleury had 18 more putouts (96) in 2010 than 2009 and after committing 23 errors in 2008 and 14 in 2009, she faulted just nine times in 163 chances in 2010 for a personal single-season career-best .945 fielding pct. … Fleury was an integral part of Notre Dame’s run to the BIG EAST regular season title and the program’s 12th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament … the Irish finished the 2010 campaign with a 47-12 mark and set single-season records for batting average (.343), runs (369), doubles (103), home runs (75), RBI (337), total bases (878), slugging pct.
