The 400 free relay quartet of Danny Lutkus, Joshua Nosal, John Lytle and Andrew Hoffman teamed to achieve one of the greatest swims in Notre Dame history. A seven-second underdog to the Louisville relay team heading into the final race of the 2009 BIG EAST Championships, the foursome pulled off the upset in dramatic fashion to secure the program’s second consecutive league title.
