AS A FRESHMAN: Coxed the novice eight boat to a win in the first heat of the spring season against Buffalo, posting a time of 5:26.0 … served as coxswain of the Notre Dame “A” novice four boat against Buffalo and Purdue, stopping the clock at 9:18.8 to grab third place … opened the fall season as a member of an Irish novice eight crew … her boat grabbed an eighth-place (out of 15 boats) result at the Head of the Rock, posting a final time of 18:59.52 … moved to coxswain of the Notre Dame “A” novice eight boat against Indiana, Iowa and Michigan State at the Irish’s home meet … her boat finished in fourth place in flight one with a final time of 14:31.40 ... named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. PREP AND PERSONAL: Was a threesport athlete (gymnastics, golf, diving) while attending Mound-Westonka High School … saw tremendous success in gymnastics, lettering all four years along with being named all-conference each year and all-state sophomore through senior year … was selected team captain during her junior and senior campaign, meanwhile helping her team to undefeated seasons each year as well … was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Senate and the show choir … born in St. Louis Park, Minn. on May 20, 1991 … daughter of Mark and Elizabeth Schneider … has one sibling, Zachary … enrolled in the First Year of Studies.

AS A FRESHMAN: Began spring season rowing with the second novice eight boat, switching to the novice four at the BIG EAST Championships and open four at Central/South Sprints … registered two third-place finishes against Buffalo after recording times of 5:36.5 and 5:41.2 … crossed in third against Michigan and Michigan State, posting a mark of 7:35.3 … defeated Purdue in a heads-up race the following day after finishing in 8:02.8 … finished runner-up at BIG EAST Championships behind Villanova with a mark of 8:51.112 … earned a lane in the petite final at the Central/South Sprints, finishing in fifth after posting a time of 7:46.32 … started her fall campaign by competing in the novice eight race at the Head of the Rock Regatta … her boat was able to grab an eighth-place finish in the race, completing the course in a time of 18:59.52 … at the Notre Dame home meet, was part of a novice eight time trial in which the boat finished the trial in a time of 16:02.20 … later competed in flight two of the novice eight races against Indiana, Iowa and Michigan State, finishing in third place with a time of 15:14.90 ... named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. AS A FRESHMAN: Opened the spring campaign as a member of the novice eight boat before moving to the second varsity four beginning at the BIG EAST Championships … recorded a third-place finish (5:36.5) and first-place finish (5:30.5) in a pair of races to begin the schedule against Buffalo … two weeks later, notched a third-place result against Michigan and Michigan State after recording a time of 7:07.8 … the following day, captured a race victory over Indiana, Buffalo, Purdue and Eastern Michigan after clocking a time of 7:49.9 … earned a pair of second-place finishes against USC and UCLA, finishing in 7:20.36 in the morning race against the Trojans and 8:12.67 in the afternoon against the Bruins … captured grand final gold with the second varsity four at the BIG EAST Championships, stopping the clock at 8:24.238 for the win … at the Central/South Sprints, earned a berth in the C final and went on to win the race with a final time of 7:42.50 … competed in both the collegiate eight and novice eight races to open up the fall season at the Head of the Rock Regatta ... sat in the collegiate eight boat that finished in 21st, posting a final time of 18:09.89 ... later helped her novice eight boat capture the race victory with a winning time of 16:15.34 ... raced in flight two of varsity four competition from the Saint Joseph’s River on day two against Indiana, Iowa and Michigan State ... her boat crossed in fourth place in the heat, stopping the clock at 15:12.00 ... named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. PREP AND PERSONAL: Competed as a member of both the swim and crew teams while attending Marlborough School in Los Angeles, Calif. … earned varsity letters in each of her junior and senior seasons with the crew team, helping the squad to a regional championship each season and a state title during her junior campaign … helped her team to national ranking in the senior season … posted an undefeated mark up until nationals with her varsity quad boat, including capturing the regional championship … was the only junior to sit with the varsity eight boat during the ’07-08 season, reaching the grand final at the Crew Classic and winning the Newport Aquatic Rowing Festival … member of Women in Business and Mock United Nation … daughter of Cary Thompson and Karen Heilman … one of three children … born on July 5, 1991 in Los Angeles, Calif. … enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
