PSU Global Programs offers Faculty & Staff Emergency Preparedness Workshops. A listing of upcoming sessions is available online. Faculty can videoconference into these workshops which are held at UP. Please contact Thao Danz (tdanz@ hmc.psu.edu) if you need assistance with this. It is also possible to arrange special workshops and this can be discussed with staff at UP Global Programs.

Medical Travel Insurance (Free) The Medical Center provides free Medical Travel Insurance for faculty who receive HMC benefits. Contact Mr. James C. Davis (jdavis5@hmc.psu. edu) for further information. This is offered as a benefit through Highmark BlueCard Worldwide https://www.highmark.com/ePlatform2/W_G_ PPOBlueCard.pdf

Travel Assistance Protection (Free) MetLife Travel Assistance is offered as a benefit to faculty who receive medical center benefits. Access when faced with an emergency while traveling internationally or domestically when more than 100 miles away from home.

WorldWatch PSU Global Programs makes WorldWatch available to faculty. This is an excellent source of information regarding any country, including upto-date information regarding travel risks.
