EMBREY BRANNON Assistant Coach Fourth Season Rider University ‘06

GETTING TO KNOW COACH BRANNON... EXPERIENCE: Fifth Season Overall (Fourth at Belmont) ALMA MATER: Rider University EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in Music Education, Rider University, 2006 Master’s Degree Sports Administration, Belmont, 2009

Embrey Brannon begins her fourth season with Belmont Volleyball in 2010, and second as assistant coach. Brannon spent the 2007 and 2008 seasons as a graduate assistant under head coach Deane Webb at Belmont. Her main responsibilities include assisting with practice, recruiting, summer camp and administrative duties for the Bruins. Brannon brings a wealth of experience in defensive aspect of the game. The former Embrey Minor was a four-year letterwinner and two-time captain at Rider University. During her time in Lawrenceville, N.J., Brannon was a libero for three seasons and a setter for her senior campaign, while finishing her career in the exclusive 1,000-dig club. Brannon graduated from Rider in May of 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. Prior to arriving in Nashville, Brannon spent one year as an assistant coach at Washington College in Chestertown, Md. In May of 2009, Brannon earned her master's degree in sport administration from Belmont.

HUSBAND: Chase Brannon

A native of Davidsonville, Md., Embrey married her high school sweetheart, Chase Brannon, in August of 2007. The couple reside in Nashville.
