{PORTRAIT CONSULTATION}
Before your Portrait Session, Lindsey, Shana or a Be Gallery Portrait Consultant will meet with you to get a sense of your personality, vision or style. They will also guide you through the process of choosing clothing and wall ensembles to better customize your portrait session. The goal is to have a clear vision in place for the images we will be creating for you and selecting the right photographer that will best capture your style. We will also educate you on tips and tricks to get the best out of your children at a session.
{IMAGE CREATION SESSION}
Portrait Sessions take place in the studio or on location. There are many styles that we photograph - properly preparing for your session will be discussed at the Portrait Consultation. Your session could take 1/2 to 3 hours depending on the subject. Newborns and high school seniors tend to have the longest sessions.
{PORTRAIT PRESENTATION}
During your scheduled Portrait Presentation, Shana, Lindsey or a Be Gallery Portrait Consultant will guide you through the decision process in our gallery showroom. This is a time to relax and enjoy your images with a spritzer, wine, chocolate, and snacks. Images will be archived only until after your purchases are delivered. After which, they are subject to deletion so please plan to order everything that you need (including holiday gifts and cards) at your Ordering Session.
{YOUR FINAL ORDER}
Quality takes time so please allow 4-5 weeks for your final order to be completed. You will be contacted when it is ready for pick up.

Due to custom crops and prints images are priced according to their longest side. All portraits 5x7 and larger are retouched and edited to remove minor blemishes. Wall portrait sizes are bonded to art board or canvas, treated with matter finish, signed and ready for framing. Retouching included softening and blending of facial blemishes, lines and wrinkles. Items such as glass glare, stray hair, scars, moles, tan lines, brace etc can be removed for an additional artwork fee. Estimates start at $25 per image. We reserve the right to artistically crop and enhance any image.

Session Tips Are you ready for your child/baby to have a portrait session? If so here are some useful tips to help in creating the very best results from your child’s portrait session: If your child is at all shy, be patient. We give them as much time as they (not you) need to warm up to me and my camera. It is very, very rare that even the most apprehensive child isn’t my buddy after twenty or thirty minutes. Parents are eager to please by urging the child on, and this NEVER, EVER helps. Let me creat a bond iwht you child at their pace, not yours. Please. (Most parents know this, and agree, but almost always have to be reminded about four times furing the first five minutes of the portrait session) Also, try to keep the ‘variations to a minimum, starting with the most important poses. What do I mean? Child alone, child with sibling, child with grandpa, child with different outfit, etc etc ’you get the picture’. Children, especially younger ones, only give me so much time. When they say the session is over, it’s over. I can’t control that, so I try to get the key shots first. Please dont’ answer for your child when he or she is asked a question. I try to bond with them by getting them to talk to me. I sometimes will reach out and “test” them to see how they respond. (if they reach back to hold my hand/finger). It tells me if I’m gaining their trust yet. Never , ever say “smile” or “cheese”. Forget it. That’s my job. “Cheese” is usually a fake or forced smile anyway, which defeats the purpose of our session. I try to get them smiling at other things that create “real smiles”. Goofy faces, funny stories, jelly beans etc...kid stuff! I’m pretty good at acting like a kid! LOL In encourage any ideas or props in your session. Many parents bring in one or two outfits. Remember changing your younger kids usually changes their moods too. Try to keep it simple Your outfit ideas and props should be discussed during your phone consultation. For children under one... do not drown them in clothes. They are still babies. Naked or in a diaper/diaper cover is always best. Feel free to bring a speical blanket, hat, etc but keep their outfits snug or next to nothing at all. 16 • www.begalleryphoto.com
