Statistical Analysis 3 0 3 This course is an introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics include sampling, distributions, plotting data, central tendency, dispersion, Central Limits Theorem, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlations, regressions, and multinomial experiments. Upon completion, students should be able to describe data and test inferences about populations using sample data. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement general education core requirement in natural sciences/mathematics. Prerequisites:

Statistical Analysis Lab 0 2 1 This course is a laboratory for MAT 155. Emphasis is placed on experiences that enhance the materials presented in the class. Upon completion, students should be able to solve problems, apply critical thinking, work in teams, and communicate effectively. College Algebra 3 0 3 This course provides an integrated technological approach to algebraic topics used in problem solving. Emphasis is placed on applications involving equations and inequalities; polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions; and graphing and data analysis/modeling. Upon completion, students should be able to choose an appropriate model to fit a data set and use the model for analysis and prediction. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement general education core requirement in natural sciences/ mathematics. Prerequisites:
