Join Us The Engineering First-Year Experience (EFX) offers academic support, tutoring and introductory courses while also building community through student mentoring and professional/technical societies. The Engineering Living-Learning Community (ELLC) provides first-year engineering students the opportunity to join a supportive community that encourages academic, professional and personal growth. The ELLC offers designated study areas which are designed to create a social and academic support network for first-year engineering students. Additionally, the Engineering Student Council hosts an organizational fair to introduce freshmen to the many engineering student organizations and competition teams.
