Perfectionist Poison!

AGES: 6 - 13 YEARS Dreams can come true when we activate our mindset of “Progress, not Perfection”. Fear of embarrassment, being overly cautious in tasks, a tendency to become anxious, melting down when things don’t go as expected, and resistance to try new things might be signs of perfectionism. If not addressed early in our kids, perfectionism can poison their spirit and evolve into more serious issues later. While there is no “quick fix,” we can secure some positive pivots by learning the following through hilarious dramatizations and games: positive thought replacement, exposure to famous people who were imperfect and successful, how to build self-esteem, and understanding the origin of perfectionism. Kids will also participate in mock role playing of wacky scenarios that result in “safe” imperfections. All levels of perfectionists are welcome to attend! Souvenirs included for all just for showing up and trying their personal best through observation or participation. (Min/Max: 7/10). Instructor: Lisa Lombardi Coaching Staff. This life coaching workshop will ignite excitement for your child who will soon enter the wonderful world of the job market. Whether it be camp counselor, lifeguard, or volunteering at the local 5K charitable walk, this power packed hour is a game changer! Mock interviews, apparel choices, communication hacks, critical thinking challenges and teamwork scenarios will all be included in a fun manner to drive home the point. We will also address managing anxiety, protecting reputation, smashing negative vibes, and building self-esteem. This workshop content has a proven track record with this age range! Treats served.
