Congratulations Dr. Rama Pamela Rama, MD has been named to the Board of Directors of the First Coast Division of the American Heart Association. Dr. Rama will serve a 2 year term as the Boards President. In her role as President, Dr. Rama will provide leadership, advice and council to the American Heart Association’s volunteers and staff as they work together to achieve community goals centered around cardiovascular education, advocacy issues and generating revenue to support AHA research. “I am honored to serve as Board President for the local American Heart Association. Their mission, to build healthier lives, free from cardiovascular disease and stroke, is what I work to achieve as a cardiologist every day. I know first hand the difference the research,education and advocacy funded by the AHA makes in the lives of countless American families. As a long time volunteer, I am excited to partner with them on a deeper level and look forward to doing incredible things for our community.” Dr. Rama’s term will run through 2016.
