SAILING RACE—This is a race across the wind (reaching) for all the crews. Thers is a sailing start with 10min & 5 min guns and the race is twice around a course of about 2 miles. ROWING RACE—This is a 2 mile race under oars only. 10 crew rowing with a cox and 2 assistants make up the boat compliment at all times.
