THE KOALA


Southern Australia Arboreal marsupialherbivorous The koala can produced one young eachs year for about 12 years.Gestation is 35 days. The koala lives almost entirely on eucalypt leaves . The Koala was hunted almost to extinction in the early 20th century lagerly for its for and the population has not fully recovered.



THE GORILLA


The Gorilla is one of the animals more closely related to humans.

Mountain gorillas live in Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda, along with a small population of gorillas living in the border between Nigeria and Cameroon which are the ones in greatest danger of disappearing. Because of the invasion and destruction of their habitat and poaching that feeds an international market for wild animal trophies. Also hunted for their meat or to capture the young.



THE LEMUR


Named for the lemurs, ghosts or spirits of Roman mythology, because the noisy vocalizations, its bright eyes and nocturnal habits of some species. The lemurs are from the island of Madagascar Until the arrival of humans to the island about 2000 years ago, there were lemurs as large as a male gorilla. Many species of lemur are endangered due to habitat loss and hunting



GRAECA TORTOISE


Seventeen different subspecies are known These turtles come from northern Africa and the drawings of its shell look like mosaics reminiscent of the Greeks. Females are larger than males. The courtship is a ritual that is chasing the female, bite and give back blows Their diet should be based on plants and vegetables Their land, their habitat, are disappearing are used as crop areas and for construction of houses.
