Those vacationing in Palm Beach were in for a treat at the Ralph Lauren store. Photographer Ellen Graham hosted cocktails and a book signing in celebration of her new publication, Talking Pictures, which includes images of legendary figures such as Frank Sinatra, Natalie Wood, Warren Beatty and Prince Albert of Monaco. Guests were also able to check out the newly opened Ralph Lauren Home collection on the second floor. 1

Padma Lakshmi, wearing a gold statement necklace by Chanel, played host to the 10th annual GEM Awards at Cipriani 42nd Street. Carolina Herrera presented Vogue.com’s Candy Pratts Price with the honor for journalistic excellence, Ralph Destino took home the Lifetime Achievement award and Daphne Guinness was lauded for her jewelry style.
