C.V. — Born and raised in the United States. He received his Bachelor in Architrecture at Pratt Institute, New York. He continued his studies at Yale University where he received his Masters in Architecture.

Βιογραφικό — Γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στις ΗΠΑ. Έλαβε το πτυχίο Bachelor of Architecture από το Pratt Institute, και μετά από τη στρατιωτική του θητεία στις ΗΠΑ σαν μουσικός, συνέχισε τις μεταπτυχιακές του σπουδές στο Yale University. Το 1967 ήρθε στην Κύπρο όπου και εργάστηκε στo νέο τότε γραφείο Ι & Α Φιλίππου ως συνεργάτης αρχιτεκτονικού σχεδιασμού. Ακολούθως ίδρυσε με τον Άθω Δίκαιο το αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο David & Dikaios Associates.

To 1979 διορίσθηκε Chair of Graduate Architecture στο Pratt Institute. Εκείνη την περίοδο ίδρυσε και διεύθυνε για 20 χρόνια το καλοκαιρινό πρόγραμμα σπουδών για φοιτητές του Pratt στην Κύπρο και Ελλάδα. Ο Θεοχάρης Δαυίδ έχει συνεισφέρει σε διεθνή προγράμματα αρχιτεκτονικών βραβείων. Μετά από εισήγηση του, ο πρώην Πρόεδρος Βασιλείου δημιούργησε τα Κρατικά Βραβεία Αρχιτεκτονικής στη Κύπρο. Έχει σχέση με τα βραβεία Άγα Χάν και είναι πρώην πρόεδρος του New York Chapter of the AIA Distinguished Architecture Awards. Έχει επίσης εκλεγεί μέλος του Honors Committee του ιδίου οργανισμού.
Το 2005 διορίσθηκε Πρόεδρος της Συμβουλευτικής Επιτροπής του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου για το νέο Τμήμα Αρχιτεκτονικής, όπου έπαιξε σημαντικό ρόλο στη δημιουργία του και όπου συνεχίζει να είναι Επισκέπτης Καθηγητής. Επίσης ήταν σύμβουλος και προσκεκλημένος κριτής σε διαγωνισμούς μέσα στα πλαίσια της εφαρμογής του Master Plan του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου. Σήμερα ο Θεοχάρης Δαυίδ έχει έργα στην Κύπρο, Νέα Υόρκη, Ρουμανία, και Μέση Ανατολή και συνεχίζει να διδάσκει.
In 1967 he came to Cyprus and worked for the newly formed office of I&A Philippou as a collaborator in architectural design. He then founded, along with Athos Dikaios, the architecture office David & Dikaios associates. In 1979 he was assigned chair of the graduate school at Pratt; during which he founded and coordinated for 20 years, a summer visiting programme in Cyprus and Greece. In 2005 he was allocated president of the Advisors Committee for the University of Cyprus Architecture School, where he still remains a visiting professor. He has also been an executive jury member for the competitions which formed the Master Plan of University of Cyprus campus. Until today he continuous to teach, while much of his work is highly appreciated and includes projects in places such as New York, Romania and Middle East. In Cyprus he has built a wide variety of projects including the famous G.S.P stadium.(Venice Biennale of Architecture 2004-2006-2008, Leaps of Faith, Nicosia, 2005). Through its members, AA&U has won several prizes in Cypriot and European architectural competitions and has implemented projects in various scales with the work produced being published internationally.

Βιογραφικό — Σημαντικός εκπρόσωπος του μοντερνισμού στην Κύπρο. Γεννήθηκε το 1916. Σπούδασε αρχιτεκτονική στο Royal Institute of British Architects από το 1948 μέχρι το 1952 οπόταν και επέστρεψε στην Κύπρο. Το 1960 ίδρυσε ιδιωτικό αρχιτεκτονικό γραφείο. Στα σημαντικότερα του έργα συγκαταλέγονται οι σχολές Terra Santa στην Αμμόχωστο και Λεμεσό και η Λιανική Αγορά Λευκωσίας
C.V. — Important representative of the modern movement in Cyprus. He studied architecture at the Royal Institute of British Architects, 1948 until 1952 where he returned to Cyprus. In 1960 he founded his architectural office. Important works of his are, the Terra Santa school in Famagusta and Limassol and the Nicosia market place.
