AUGUSTA ATV HAS A WIDE SELECTION OF NEW AND RECONDITIONED QUALITY VEHICLES TO CHOOSE FROM “We are the only authorized dealer in this area and the largest for the E-Z-Go and Bad Boy Buggie golf cars,” said Chantel Holt, the owner of Augusta ATV. The dealership has a wide selection of new and reconditioned quality vehicles to choose from. “The 2Five is my favorite,” Holt said. The 2Five is an E-Z-Go product that is legal on most roads with a speed limit of 35 miles per hour. It is a favorite among customers because of the gas it saves. The 2Five is an electric vehicle that is easy on the environment and fun to drive. The wide selection of Augusta ATV includes choices of gas, electric and street-legal vehicles in a variety of makes and models. The company sells personal, commercial, sports series, work series and golf carts. The E-Z-Go personal, golf and commercial carts are perfect for the get-up-and-go tasks. Whether you’re driving through the neighborhood, maneuvering the golf course, or selling food and

beverages, E-Z-Go vehicles are an easy and fun way to get around. If you are looking for a more durable vehicle for recreational or work tasks, Bad Boy Buggies is the way to go. The Sports Series for Bad Boy Buggies is great for the annual hunting trip because of the “whisper-quiet” electric drivetrains, muscle, range and versatility of the vehicles. Augusta ATV is selling the Bad Boy Buggie Ambush at $800 off, the Recoil iS and Recoil for $500 off and the Instinct for $400 off. For more durability for the extreme conditions of the daily grind, the Bad Boy Buggie Work Series is tough enough to withstand those rough work conditions. Whether it’s moving workers, towing and moving large loads, or roaming tough terrain, Augusta ATV has the right Bad Boy Buggie for you. It is selling the Bad Boy Buggie LTO Classic at $1,000 off and the XD Diesel at $500 off. Augusta ATV will be at the Augusta Outdoor Expo this year.

“We did it last year, and my husband said it was a great event,” Holt said. Holt recently inherited Augusta ATV from her late husband, Jimmy Holt, who bought the business seven years ago. The E-Z-Go and Bad Boy Buggie dealer will be at the expo with vehicles and Bad Boy Buggie product giveaways. The booth will have salesmen to answer any questions you might have about Augusta ATV’s vehicles. The grand prize, a Bad Boy Buggie Instinct, is provided by Augusta ATV for the Augusta Outdoor Expo. LOAD UP AMMUNITION SPECIALIZES IN MANUFACTURING AND REMANUFACTURING QUALITY RELOADED AMMUNITION For all your ammunition needs, come to Load Up Ammunition. Jace Badia, who is retired from the Army, bought the store in 2012. “We are a service-disabled veteran-owned small business,” Badia said. He joined the Army in 2005 and in 2006 was deployed to Iraq with the 1st Infantry Division. He was severely wounded, losing his left leg above his knee, injuring his right leg and putting him in a wheelchair for 29 months. “I fought to stay active,” Badia said. He was reclassified to military intelligence and deployed to Afghanistan and Kuwait. According to Badia, even though people told him he wouldn’t be able to stay active, he did. After retirement, he moved back to another passion – firearms and ammo. “Firearms and ammunition have always been a part of my life,” Badia said. “It’s the sporting aspect in general that I have a passion for.”

Badia purchased Load Up Ammunition from a Navy veteran who started the company in 2007. Badia’s goal is to provide firearms and ammunition to both uniformed service members and to civilians. “I’ve got a few different combat tours under my belt, and I know quality ammunition,” Badia said. “I’m delivering just that to my customers.” Load Up Ammunition specializes in manufacturing new and quality reloaded ammunition. Soon, the store will offer highaccuracy ammunition for long-range shooting. It also supplies firearms, survival food, reloading components and accessories. “My favorite firearm is the AR-15 M4 carbine,” Badia said, because it’s hard to move away from something he had so much service time carrying. All of his employees have some tie to the military, whether it is themselves, family members or spouses.

Load Up Ammunition supports charitable events for the Military Intelligence Corps Association, for the Fisher House and helps support wounded warrior events such as the Warrior Shoot Event Group. It will also participate in the Augusta Outdoor Expo this year. Load Up Ammunition wants to participate in the expo to let people know that there is a quality ammunition store in the area and it supports the purpose of the outdoor expo. “We are incredibly hard-working, servicedisabled veterans, and our goal is to satisfy our customers,” Badia said. Load Up Ammunition is also looking to network with other service-disabled veterans at the expo. Stop by the store at 3319 Gordon Highway in Grovetown from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday or from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and let Load Up Ammunition know what you think.

GET OUT ON THE WATER IN A BOAT FROM AUGUSTA MARINE When it’s a hot summer day and you want to relax on a boat, give Augusta Marine a call. “Augusta Marine sells new boats, used boats, parts and services,” said David Whyte, the owner and operator. Augusta Marine is a full-service marine retailer. It is a factory authorized sales and services dealer of Ranger Boats, Hurricane Deck Boats, Key West and Carolina Skiff Center Consoles, Sweet Water Pontoons, Yamaha, Honda, and G3 Aluminum Boats. “We can house up to 50 new boats in our showroom,” Whyte said. Augusta Marine’s showroom provides the opportunity for customers to buy a boat that has not been weathered from sitting outdoors. It allows customers to shop for boats even when it’s pouring down rain. “Come by and look at the facility,” Whyte said. Augusta Marine has a 17,000-square-foot service department with 12 working bays. It is also the largest marine parts “one-shop

stop,” according to Whyte. “Our service department is second to none,” Whyte said. The service department at Augusta Marine has master certified technicians. Before the boat business, Whyte was the owner of a car wash, but his interest in fishing and boating was prominent. He entered into a few tournaments, and in 1992 and 1999 won two major bass tournaments with friend, Derrick Bridges. After 20 years in the car wash business, Whyte was offered a deal for his car wash he couldn’t refuse and sold it. In 2003, the owner of Augusta Marine was ready to retire, and Whyte, already a loyal customer of the boat dealership, bought it. With Whyte’s leadership and organization, Augusta Marine has grown to be the largest and most successful boat dealership in the surrounding eight counties. The boat dealership’s catchphrase is “service after the sale.” Even after a sale,

Augusta Marine wants to deliver on its promises and satisfy its customers with quality service. Augusta Marine will be showcasing a new Ranger Bass Boat at the Augusta Outdoor Expo. Go by the booth and check it out. “It’s the best bass boat made,” Whyte said. “Technology of Rangers is always a step ahead.” Whyte also explained that Hank Parker, a professional bass fishing and outdoor television host, will be at the Augusta Outdoor Expo as a guest speaker. Whyte is friends with Adam Harris, the owner of Augusta Outdoor Ministries Inc. and the event coordinator of the Augusta Outdoor Expo. Augusta Marine is at 4250 Belair Frontage Road, so go by and check out the showroom. It is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

SOUTHERN SIDING AND WINDOW COMPANY: SERVICING AUGUSTA SINCE 1966 In 1966, Augusta native, Jim Felton formed his first company in the CSRA bringing a variety of new products aimed at easing and reducing the cost of traditional home remodeling. Because his earliest-and continuing--commitment was to quality and value, he soon expanded. Within a few years, he had grown from those first few-dozen customers to thousands annually. This year alone his home improvement companies -- with Southern Siding & Windows as its Augusta flagship -- will complete over 4,500 jobs in the Augusta/Aiken (CSRA), Atlanta, Birmingham, Columbia and Greenville markets. Mr. Felton’s companies are under the Southern Industries umbrella and are comprised of: Taylor Construction, Southern Siding & Window, Ultimate Gutter Guard, Enloe Residential and Southern Window & Siding. Together these companies have completed over 67,000 jobs for over 45,000 households. This means that about one-third of all of our customers come back for additional work! That’s really saying something when you consider that many of our products (such as sunrooms, whole-house siding, decks, roofs) are essentially one-time purchases! The Southern Siding & Window Company formula for a successful business includes more than just

expansion and growth. Our success is due to the fine people who make up the company and it is firmly rooted in a commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction. Since that first year, high quality work and reasonable prices have been the hallmark of all our Southern Industries companies. Every product and service is fully backed and customer satisfaction is guaranteed. It’s been 46 years since Jim Felton first began knocking on doors of residents in the CSRA. In

those 46 years his companies have proved themselves again and again. For 46 years, you, the customer have supported all the companies under the Southern Industries umbrella with referrals and repeat business. Southern Industries humbly thanks you for your past business and hopes to earn your trust for another 46 years, like our motto says we build relationships that last a lifetime.

AUGUSTA RV STORES, SERVICES AND REPAIRS MOTOR HOMES, TRAILERS OR CAMPERS If you have a motor home, trailer or camper that needs repair, give Augusta RV a call. “We’re just a hometown RV service center here to help people repair their motor homes or campers so they can enjoy their trip,” said Richard Fender, the president of Augusta RV. Augusta RV stands behind what it does for customers. From repairing awnings and air conditioners to cleaning carpet, the service department delivers. “We have a good crew,” said Fender about his employees who work hard to satisfy customers’ needs. After 18 years in computer repairs, Fender opened Augusta RV in 2002. He saw a need for recreational vehicle repair in the area, and instead of opening a restaurant,

Fender decided to open Augusta RV. “My whole life has been fixing things,” Fender said. “My act of service has been serving people by fixing what they can’t fix themselves.” Augusta RV is participating in the Augusta Outdoor Expo this year. As a member of Warren Baptist Church, Fender supports the expo’s mission of reaching out to men in the community to bring them to church. Augusta RV will have information about its repair service, as well as a chance to win a new recliner chair. For more information about Augusta RV, stop by the booth, or the shop at 801 Industrial Park Drive in Evans from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. SHOOTERS IS THE ONLY INDOOR RANGE IN THE CSRA Get your gun and head down to the Shooters Indoor Range and Gun Shop. “You can’t shoot outdoors when it’s raining,” said owner Buddy Lichty, who purchased the gun shop in March 2012, but the indoor range opened over 20 years ago. Lichty is a technology consultant by trade, but retired from the road and IT industry to work with his favorite pastime. “My favorite gun of choice would be a 1911 .45 ACP,” Lichty said. Shooters Indoor Range and Gun Shop began as an indoor gun range selling handguns and a few long guns. Now, Shooters has expanded and remodeled to include billiards. “We are the only indoor range in the CSRA,” Lichty said. The indoor range is climate-controlled, and if you don’t have your own gun, you can rent one. The handguns have a $10 rental fee and the long guns have a $15 rental fee. Ammunition for the rental guns must be purchased from Shooters. To shoot for an all-day pass, lane fees start

at $12 for the first person and $6 for each additional person with a group. There is no limit. Shooters offers classes taught by a certified NRA instructor. Classes are offered for basic, beginner or advanced instruction. Classes will be held for three people at a time; however, with advanced notice, larger groups may be accommodated. As part of the course, patrons will learn firearm safety, proper trigger control, grip, target acquisition and stance before they fire a gun. This year, Shooter Indoor Range and Gun Shop is offering an Air Rifle Team for kids on Saturday mornings. The new program’s age limit is from 6 to 18 years old. The cost is $50 per child and includes a T-shirt, use of team air rifles, ammunition and targets. At the end of the season, awards will be given to the children in recognition of their efforts and achievements. The fun program will teach gun safety, sportsmanship and team participation. Shooters offers specials four days during

the week that allow the first person to pay only $6. Tuesday is ladies day. Wednesday is law enforcement day, Thursday is for active military and veterans. Friday is for college students. Guns that are not allowed are the AK-47 pistols, guns fitted with bumper stocks or fully automatic weapons and similar guns. Ammunition that is not allowed at the range includes tracers and penetrating rounds. Children under 16 years old must have an adult with them, and only one child per lane is allowed. For more than one child to be at a lane, they must be properly trained and exercise gun safety at all times. All rules are in place for the safety of patrons. Shooters Indoor Range and Gun Shop will be at the Augusta Outdoor Expo featuring nonfirearm merchandise. Lichty saw the event last year and wanted to be apart of it. For more information, or if you want to shoot at the gun range, stop by at 1025 Patriots Way in Augusta. Its hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

BOBBY JONES FORD LINCOLN NOT ONLY A DEALERSHIP BUT A PROUD SUPPORTER OF THE COMMUNITY Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln is a fastpaced environment that will have you driving home in a fabulous new or used vehicle. “It is a locally owned, family-owned and-operated, all-inclusive Ford and Lincoln dealership,” said Jesse Strickland, the sales manager. Walk into the showroom and immediately be enamored by the staging of 2013 Ford and Lincoln automobiles. Before you step up to a vehicle, a representative will be by your side to provide you with the best customer service possible. It is the representative’s goal to make your experience a good one at Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln. “My favorite truck is the F-150 SuperCrew 4WD because I hunt,” Strickland said. “You catch bigger fish and kill more deer if you’re driving an F-150.” Whether it is a van, car, truck or SUV, the selection of vehicles, either new or used, is extensive. Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln will work with you to satisfy your automotive needs and help you to not break the bank. “We tend to focus on more than just the price,” Strickland said. If you are purchasing, financing or need service on new or used Fords or Lincolns, Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln can help you with finding the right vehicle to fit your lifestyle. The dealership offers financing and lease options, auto service, and factory certified parts. According to Strickland, the dealership is “very competitive” and provides good quality products at fair prices. Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln works with several lenders and credit unions in order to offer competitive rates for all levels of credit. “Something unique about this dealership is we offer a Lifetime Powertain Warranty on most new Ford vehicles,” Strickland said. In addition, the certified used vehicles come with a seven-year, or 100,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty, a 12-month or 12,000 mile comprehensive warranty, a 172- point inspection vehicle history report and 24-hour roadside assistance. All tradeins at the dealership are thoroughly inspected and in prime condition for the customers’ satisfaction by its

team of Automotive Service Excellence certified and master technicians. The service department provides superior maintenance and offers diesel truck and RV services. The parts department will also customize your vehicle to your standards, but if it doesn’t have a product or part in stock, it will order the part for you. The parts and service departments are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Loaner vehicles and shuttle service is also available for our customers. “We present a different buying experience by being transparent,” Strickland said. If our sales team discloses all information necessary to our customers, from the vehicle details to the operations of the business office, we then gain the trust needed from our customers and they are much more comfortable with the buying process. Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln is a proud supporter of the community, helping organizations such as the Hale House, the Salvation Army and the Veterans’ Association. It is also the title sponsor for the 2013 second annual Augusta Outdoor Expo, held by Augusta Outdoor Ministries, Inc. The Augusta Outdoor Ministries, Inc. is a joint venture between Strickland and Adam Harris, which began after their pastor at Warren Baptist Church, Dr. David McKinley, asked them to create another outreach opportunity to add to the current men’s ministry. Since Strickland and Harris both had extensive backgrounds in the outdoor industry, organizing an event around the outdoors was a natural fit, thus the Augusta Outdoor Expo was created. Strickland’s and Harris’s main purpose for the event is to spread the message of the Gospel and to promote recreation in the outdoors. With their connections with outdoor vendors and Christian business owners, the event snowballed. The inaugural expo was a huge success, initially expecting 400 – 500 attendees, but attendance rose to well over 1,400. “Rarely do you have an event where everyone involved walks away happy, from the volunteers and vendors to the

patrons who attended, but the Augusta Outdoor Expo was an exception. Everyone had such positive feedback, which encouraged us to make this year bigger and better,” Strickland said. Last year’s venue at Warren Baptist Church was packed, and, at one point, was filled to maximum capacity. We couldn’t stomach having to turn people away again so this year,

the expo. At the Augusta Outdoor Expo, Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln will have three booths on the main floor, one of which will have Jerry Kanis, a Powerstroke field representative, who will lead a breakout session during the expo. He will also be doing a questionand-answer session to provide more information to patrons.

2013 FORD RAPTOR Strickland and Harris chose the largest venue in the CSRA, the James Brown Arena, to host the 2013 Augusta Outdoor Expo. The search for the title sponsor for the event was short-lived. Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln is a natural fit for the sponsorship due to their involvement in the community and the product lines that appeal to outdoor enthusiasts. Strickland also thought it would be a great way for Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln to launch the construction of its new state-of-the-art facility to better serve its customers, which will begin in the fall of 2013. “We like representing and working with nonprofits,” Strickland said about why Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln wanted to sponsor the event. He also said that the Augusta Outdoor Expo wanted to be associated with the dealership because it is a local family-owned business and has a passion for reaching people, much like

“Another benefit for us as a title sponsor is to interact off-site with our customers and potential customers, showing them we are regular folks just like they are,” Strickland said about why Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln is participating in the Augusta Outdoor Expo. If you haven’t purchased tickets for the expo yet, stop by Bobby Jones Ford Lincoln. The tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. The adult tickets will automatically enter you to win a grand prize, and the student tickets enter to win a chance for a hunting and fishing license. While you are at the dealership, take a look around the lot at the new and used vehicles. The sales department is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. If you don’t have time to go to the lot, you browse our inventory anytime online at www.BobbyJonesFord.com . For more information, call (706) 738-8000.
