W, 77-54 W, 58-46 American (13-7, 6-3) has dropped its last two games by a W, 47-41 combined five points, most recently suffering a 48-44 loss L, 64-61 to defending Patriot League Champion Navy. Jen Dumiak W, 64-42 led three double-digit scorers with 14 points and was one L, 77-64 rebound shy of a double-double for the game, finishing with nine. Alexis Dobbs and Geleisa George added 11 and 10 W, 77-40 points, respectively. Michelle Holmes pulled down a gameL, 63-60 high 10 boards. American shot a season-low 30.2 percent W, 52-34 from the field in the loss. W, 72-55 W, 70-61 Dobbs is averaging a team-best 13.5 points per game and W, 72-57 Michelle Holmes leads the Patriot League in field goal W, 63-56 percentage and is shooting 64.4 percent from the field on the L, 64-63 year. Sarah Kiely has posted a team-best 6.1 rebounds per L, 48-44 game this season. Dobbs is ranked third in the conference with 4.9 assists per game and fourth with 1.6 steals per game 1:00 p.m. with Shaquilla Curtis also tallying 1.6 spg for the Eagles. 7:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. Holy Cross (13-7, 5-4) picked up its second win in three 7:00 p.m. games with an 80-65 victory at Loyola (Md.). Alex Smith 2:00 p.m. scored a game-high 17 points, going 4-of-6 from beyond the 7:00 p.m. arc, while Raquel Scott and Molly Hourigan posted double3:00 p.m. doubles. Scott had 16 points and 12 rebounds and Hourigan 7:00 p.m. tallied 16 points to go along with 10 boards. The Crusaders shot 54.0 percent from the field in the win.

Holy Cross handed the Eagles its first conference loss earlier this season in a tight 63-60 contest in Bender Arena. Arron Zimmerman scored 18 points to lead American and Dobbs chipped in eight points. Curtis posted a career-best eight rebounds. 2013-14 AU Women’s Basketball - Five players reached double-figures in the win over Lehigh (1/15). The last time American had that balanced of a scoring attack was on Feb. 23, 2008. - Shot 56.3 percent from 3-point range vs. Colgate (1/11), marking the first time an Eagles’ team has shot 50 percent from beyond the arc since Dec. 21, 2011. - Held Loyola (Md.) to 34 points (1/8), the first time an American squad has held an opponent to under 35 points since Dec. 30, 2010 vs. Binghamton. The 34 points were also the third fewest allowed by an American team in program history. - Opened the conference season with its first 30 point victory since Feb. 26, 2011, defeating Bucknell, 77-40 (1/2). Before joining Lehigh, she was an assistant coach at Navy for the 2007-08 season and was a graduate assistant coach at St. John’s for two seasons, helping the Red Storm to a top 25 ranking and 22-8 overall record in 2005-06. Coll played basketball abroad in Portugal, Germany, Holland and Wales after playing at the collegiate level for UMBC. She was a four-year member of the Retrievers’ squad and served on the NCAA StudentAthlete Advisory Committee for two seasons. Coll graduated from UMBC in 2003 with a degree in issues and athletic administration and received her Master’s in sociology from St. John’s in 2007.

She helped lead the Raiders to one of its biggest RPI wins in program history and two wins over the top seed in the 2013 Patriot League tournament to advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2007. Flores also served as the first assistant and recruiting coordinator at Division II Holy Family University from 2009 to 2012, helping the team to three CACC Regular

Season Championships from 2010 to 2012 and three berths to the NCAA Tournament. Flores was a four-year member of the women’s basketball team at Marist, earning All-MAAC Second Team honors in her senior season and being honored on the MAAC All-Rookie Team in 2005. She helped lead the Foxes to four MAAC Regular Season titles, three MAAC Tournament Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 appearance during her junior year. Assistant Coach • 1st Season • Marist ‘12 A former Marist College standout, Emily Stallings most recently served as a graduate assistant at East Stroudsburg. Stallings aided in the development of the post players, in addition to helping with practice planning and recruiting. She also served as a head and assistant coach of the Newburgh Liberty AAU team.

Graduate Assistant • 1st Season • Rowan ‘13 Allie Bassetti begins her first season as a graduate assistant coach at American University. Bassetti most recently served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. where she worked on practice planning, breaking down game film and scouting reports. She was the head coach of the Philadelphia Belles Nike Travel Team from 2008 to 2012 and practice coordinator for the Philadelphia Belles AAU team from 2008-2011. During that time, Bassetti also acted as an assistant coach at Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School, leading the team to a record of 13-11 in

2010-11 and 20-9 in her final season. She has been a clinician and counselor for Blue Star Basketball since 2008, conducting skill sessions and player evaluations for seventh to ninth grade students. Bassetti has also worked with U.S. Junior National Team Tournaments as an assistant events coordinator and site director from 2008 to 2013. A native of Turnersville, N.J., Bassetti played point guard at Rowan from 2008-2010, leading the team to consecutive NJAC Semifinal playoff appearances in 2009 and 2010. She graduated from Rowan with a degree in psychology in 2013.
