100+ Women Strong mission

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is committed to recruiting the nation’s finest female students and encouraging them to achieve their full potential in engineering careers and leadership opportunities. The college’s 100+ Women Strong program is playing a major role in bringing women into professions that allow them to impact society through engineering. Both corporate and individual members of 100+ Women Strong assist the college in cultivating an educational environment that empowers female students by providing resources to ensure their success. The program focuses on innovative strategies that not only promote engineering among female students, but also create a culture in which they can excel.

Corporate sponsorship

We invite your organization to be part of these efforts through a corporate sponsorship for the 100+ Women Strong program. Our sponsors provide invaluable financial support through gifts of at least $5,000 annually for five years. These funds enable us to develop and sustain initiatives designed to recruit, retain and reward females in engineering. Your participation allows our students to know that corporations and businesses are dedicated to improving the engineering culture for women.

Innovator Sponsors - $5,000 per year:

• Invitation to all events hosted by program • Recognition at all program events • Name on event programs • Name on corporate sponsor page of website • Company name listing in the Cupola Report, the college’s annual donor recognition publication

Visionary Sponsors - $15,000 per year:

• All Innovator Sponsor benefits, plus: • Seat on Executive Committee • Table and opportunity to lead a breakout session spring Leadership and Development Conference

Director Sponsors - $25,000 per year:

• All Visionary Sponsor benefits, plus: • Private presentation and networking event with students • Access to student resume book • Annual scholarship in company’s name

• 100+ Women Strong was founded in 2012 • Each engineering discipline is represented in our membership • Female engineering enrollment is trending upward • Research has shown that female engineering students who participate in 100+ Women Strong events are significantly more likely to remain in engineering

• Funding sources include alumni, corporate sponsors, faculty, staff, Auburn friends and parents • Increased membership and sponsorship has resulted in increased opportunities for female engineering students through scholarships, fellowships, mentoring opportunities and increased breadth of speaker opportunities

• Mentees have the opportunity to engage with recent graduates, as well as seasoned graduates, from diverse backgrounds and disciplines from around the country
