Welcome to the second show of our 2022/2023 Broadway Season at the AT&T Performing Arts Center: On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan. This production celebrates the journey of the 26-time Grammy Award-winning husbandand-wife team and the rise of Cuban-fusion pop music made famous by Gloria Estefan.

I hope you will stay after each performance for our Women in Power Afterparties with an amazing Latina DJ, sponsored by Campari Group as we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month! What a great way to kick off the month, as we embrace this tale of a strong, courageous and hardworking woman. There will be salsa dancing, great music, contests, and plenty of fun photo-worthy moments. And let me share a little industry secret – spending just 15 minutes on campus enjoying yourself after the show means no lines in the garage and no traffic on the street.

I hope you also notice that we have improved our concessions offerings with our SKYY® Vodka signature cocktail, Miami Sound Machine! We have invested in technology and staff to reduce lines, and we are adding extra touches to make your evening pristine.

What does the AT&T Performing Arts Center mean to you?

Participation in the Center’s offerings translates to a sense of belonging within the greater Dallas community, the opportunity to share meaningful experiences in gorgeous, comfortable spaces, and an enriching way to learn about myself, others, and the diverse world around me.

What inspired/inspires your love of theatre and the performing arts?

We met in drama class in high school over 50 years ago. We spent endless hours collecting props and painting lots and lots of backdrops! This early exposure inspired our love for the arts and we will always keep coming back for more. We were fortunate to be members when the Center opened its doors in 2009 as we were in Houston when Hobby Center opened its doors in 2002. It’s nice to feel a part of something.

Why did you choose to join the Center Circle membership program, and what motivates your continued support each year?

We joined Center Circle for the excellent, up close & personal seats! While I am sure that every seat in the theater is great, once you have sat in the front it’s hard to go back.

Do you have a favorite performance or experience while visiting the Center?

That’s a really tough question. We enjoy all the performances!
