Al seu pas podrà percebre l’atracció vegetal de Sóller. Després dels murs dels primers horts i jardins, una explosió d’arbres, plantes i flors s’obrirà davant vostè: tarongers, llimoners, caquis, nespres, palmeres i atzavares.
All along the walk you will see Sóller’s lovely vegetation. Behind the walls of the first vegetable and flower gardens, an explosion of trees, plants and flowers will open up before your eyes, featuring species like orange trees, lemon trees, persimmons, medlars, palm trees and agaves.
A pocs minuts arribarà a la gasolinera de la carretera de desviació, que uneix Sóller amb el port. Haurà de travessar-la i prendre l’antic camí des Rost que condueix al poble de Deià. Al final d’aquest camí es troba l’edifici de Can Puig, antiga fàbrica tèxtil i de sabó, que avui dia compleix la funció de sala d’exposicions. Haurà de continuar a la dreta pel carrer Camí Costa d’en Llorenç, que discorre entre grans murs de pedra. Araucàries, palmeres, xiprers, eucaliptus, plàtans, i eufòrbies, gegantescs cactus en forma de canelobres, delectaran el seu passeig en una afable exhibició de la naturalesa, fruit del microclima que es crea a la vall de Sóller. Aquest camí desemboca en un camí de terra des del qual podrà albirar a la seva dreta la finca de Son Angelats. Pocs metres més endavant, després d’arribar a una barrera, que haurà de tancar darrere seu, travessarà la llera d’un petit torrent.

A partir d’aquest moment, el bucòlic camí adopta la forma d’una senda ascendent, empedrada i escalonada, on esbarzerars i mates de murta brollen al seu pas, perfumant el camí. Entre les plantacions d’oliveres, creixen també alguns garrovers i el solitari
After a few minutes you will reach the petrol station on the Desviament road linking Sóller to its port. Cross it and take the old Camí des Rost path that leads to the village of Deià. At the end of this path you will find the Can Puig building, a former textile and soap factory which is used today as an exhibition hall. You should keep going to the right along the Camí Costa d’en Llorenç street, which runs between large stone walls. Araucarias, palm trees, cypresses, eucalyptus, plane trees and euphorbias, gigan-tic candelabrashaped cactuses, will brighten your walk in a lovely display of nature, the result of the microclimate in the Sóller valley. This path will lead to a dirt path where you will be able to make out the Son Angelats estate on your right. A few metres further on, after reaching a fence that you should close after going through it, you will cross a small stream. From now on, the bucolic path becomes a type of ascending trail paved with stones and steps, where bramble patches and myrtle shrubs line the path and scent the walk.
