Cultural Connect Welcome Week

MC Meet & Greet Ice Cream Social – September 8

Cultural Connect Welcome Week provides freshmen and incoming students an opportunity to interact with students of different backgrounds as well as find out more information about campus organizations. The events also represented the mission of the MC, which is to promote cultural awareness, equality, and provide leadership experiences.


Fall Explosion – September 10

“It was my first time to a step show so I was quite excited to go,” said Adeeja Anderson. “I’m glad I got a chance to experience the talent.”

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Viva La Noche – September 25

Hispanic Heritage Month was celebrated with various events hosted by Hispanic Outreach Latino Appreciation [H.O.L.A.] and the Multicultural Center. “I believe the event (Hispanic Cultural Conversation) was a success, and I learned a lot about Hispanic culture,” said Robert Johnson.
