Resize VADs at your shop quickly and easily Has this happened to you? You’re adjusting the clearance between the valve stem and the cams and the stock Valve Adjustment Disc (VAD) isn’t the right thickness. You need a 2.25 in a 28mm diameter and the thinest ones available are 2.50. What are you going to do?
Place the VAD that you need to resize on your Magnetic VAD Holder (VDR-UNI, above). The magnets will hold it securely. Using your Valve Grinder’s stem end wheel, grind the VAD to the thickness you need. You’re now ready to install it in the head. All in a few minutes instead of a few days.
