Extreme Duty Valve Spring Kits The springs are manufactured from ultra clean high silicon Kobe alloy wire then micro shot peened and nitrated. They are designed to be used with high performance cams or steel valves that replace Titanium valves. NOTE: When Changing OEM titanium valves for steel valves, you must also upgrade your springs for AV&V’s Extreme Duty Springs due to the need for higher pressure and toughness.
