The health of our campers is our first priority. We have reimagined summer fun with social distancing measures in place. All of our safety measures have been approved by New York State and New York City Department of Health. Some changes that we added in 2020 include: • Staggered arrival and dismissal

During summer 2020, we recorded zero reported or confirmed COVID-19 cases with our safety protocols in place. For summer 2021, we will follow the most current City, State, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and American Camp Association guidelines. We expect to continue many of the practices from summer 2020, though they are subject to change as we receive new information.

ACTIVE KIDS THRIVE AT ASPHALT GREEN SUMMER DAY CAMP. Children ages 4½ to 15 express themselves through sports, arts, and innovative programming. We foster a supportive community that encourages each camper to be creative, explore interests, and step out of his or her comfort zone. Children leave each day with a confident sense of self. Plus, our low camper-to-counselor ratio ensures each camper gets individualized attention. With over 30 years of experience, Asphalt Green Summer Day Camp provides a nurturing environment for children to flourish.
Campers ages 4½ to 13 are split into four divisions. Our Counselor in Training program for teens ages 14 to 15 prepares participants to become successful leaders, role models, and future Summer Day Camp staff members.

STATE-OF-THE-ART INDOOR AND OUTDOOR FACILITIES COMBINED WITH WORLD-CLASS INSTRUCTION CREATE THE ULTIMATE CAMP EXPERIENCE. SWIM:
SPORTS:
Campers swim daily in our on-site pools and get a combination of instruction from our highly trained staff and recreational time. With a focus on safety, fun, and learning, campers progress through swim levels during the summer. Our goal is to foster confident, comfortable, and proficient swimmers.
Sample a variety of sports and get expert instruction. Our coaches focus on developing players; beginners gain an understanding of the game and more advanced athletes take their skills to the next level.

Campers exercise their creative sides in urban gardening, arts and crafts, dance, science, theater, yoga, woodworking, and more.
Our curriculum grows with the campers. Each year, children are introduced to new activities and learn more advanced skills.
