Field Studies Council Walking is a great way to explore the outdoors and Field Studies Council (FSC) courses help develop your knowledge of the natural world while you walk. Short courses explore local landscapes and wildlife with an expert on hand to guide you. There are also more focused courses on geology and some of a more active nature such as navigation skills. FSC Centres have been chosen for the richness and diversity of their surroundings and the unique wildlife and flora often found within easy reach. Courses are led by experienced and passionate tutors with an in-depth subject knowledge and will be filled with people who have similar interests. A selection of one-day and short residential

courses are available during the year at FSC Centres in stunning locations across the UK. The all-inclusive course fee covers tuition and activities, and the comfortable full board accommodation for residential courses. FSC is an environmental education charity with 70 years’ experience of providing informative and enjoyable opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to discover, explore, be inspired by, and understand the natural environment. A wide range of other courses are also available with FSC including walking, photography and arts.
