Rogue Valley Geology in the Earth’s History Take a walk through Earth’s history to learn how our planet, its climate and the life on it have changed through time, and how Ashland’s geology fits in. Become a creature of the ancient past, and learn how rocks and fossils form and are dated. Bring your questions and a favorite rock or fossil to share. He is the principal creator of the Briscoe Geology Park, the Climb through Time geologic climbing wall at ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum in Ashland, and the earth history walk at the new Oregon Hills Park in Medford.

Reptiles & Amphibians This program showcases LIVE animals, including a box turtle, bearded dragon lizard, frogs, and a few models. The class will discuss their differences and the important roles they all play in the environment. Handouts will be provided for identification of local species.
