STATISTICS MATH 140 – Introduction to Statistics 3, 4 or 5 Students seeking certification in GE Breadth prior to transfer must have passed the AP exam before the certification date. If a student passes more than one AP exam in calculus or computer science, only one examination may be applied to the baccalaureate at CSU. Students who pass AP Environmental Science earn 4 units of credit. Tests prior to Fall 2009 may apply to B1+B3 or B2+B3 of CSU GE Breadth. Fall of 09 or later, those credits may only apply to B1+B3. If a student passes more than one AP exam in Physics, only six units of credit may be applied to the baccalaureate, and only four units of credit may be applied to a certification in CSU GE Breadth. Actual AP transfer credit awarded for these and other AP exams for admission is determined by the CSU and UC. Please note that some universities do not accept AP scores for major preparation. Check with you transfer institution for AP acceptance for major. MSJC AA/AS units are internal use and may only apply to the degree at MSJC or clear prerequisites. 04/8/14
