I am a strong and determined black woman I wonder about how life would be without food I see myself being able to give my kids a better future I want to be able one day to not have to worry about bills I am a strong and determined black woman I pretend to be a president I feel sometimes like a butterfly I touch the stars I worry a lot about my dad I cry about my dad I am a strong and determined black woman I understand world hunger I say the Lord doesn’t put no more on you than you can bear I dream of having a very good job I try really hard to be a provider for my family I hope one day they appreciate me for that I am a strong and determined black woman
