Molla’s Art Gallery Molla’s Art Gallery in Rustenburg is owned by Mollie Moolman and opened its doors in March 2008 in Rustenburg, North West, also known as the “Platinum City”. The area oﬀers great cultural and economic diversity from the wildlife and bushveld of the Marico to the largest Platinum mines in the World. Molla’s Art Gallery is proud to be the custodian and mentor of many local artists work, including members of the Rustenburg Visual Arts Association (RAVA). This body is aﬃliated to the South African Association of Visual Arts (SANAVA) and draws its membership from far and wide, enfolding artist from The Marico to the borders of

Botswana. In this way artists can interact locally and internationally. The art reference books owned by the gallery also serve as a library for scholars and artists alike. Molla’s Art Gallery does not only stage exhibitions of local and national artist works, but also hosts weekly workshops in various media and art disciplines. The art shop stock a wide array of art materials and canvasses. Other services are art valuations for various purposes, interior decorating and procurement advice, commissions of art works and portraits, monthly ﬂea market, full time coﬀee shop and small function venue.
