Welcome to ART MARBELLA 2017 Dear friends, Once again we are days away from a new edition of Art Marbella. Like every year, we are full of excitement. The third year is a crucial time for an art fair, when the project settles in its identity and takes off. For that reason, we believe that the challenges and opportunities in 2017 are even bigger than in prior years. With the generous support of a committee formed by María Baró, Pedro Carreras and Carles Taché we were able to incorporate new galleries that, together with those returning, will offer a variety and diversity of proposals that we believe is crucial to Art Marbella’s success. Several special project add to this selection of galleries, like the world presentation of the new project about Central Park in New York by Dionisio González, the exhibition of works by Lita Cabellut for the first time in the South of Spain, and the fair debut of a local artist, in this case from Sotogrande, like María Carrión. We are delighted with the exhibition sponsored by the Town of Genalguacil, a museum town in the Ronda area that does a wonderful job of promoting contemporary art, as well as our association with Starlite, undoubtedly the most popular event in the city of Marbella. We continue to promote the fair very proactively. Art Marbella has established itself as “the” cultural event in the city, which makes us feel both proud and committed. We have invited more than 100 collectors from all over the world, which ensures the attendance and commercial success of the fair. Art Marbella is a “place of business”, like all successful fairs, but also a meeting point for discovery, learning and promoting art. This year, more than ever, that will be evident when we open our doors. Once again, our thanks to the City of Marbella, its authorities and its people among who we always feel at home, to the entire Art Marbella team, to the exhibitors that honour us with their trust, and to our sponsors, without who our work would be much more difficult. Bienvenidos a ART MARBELLA 2017 Queridos amigos, Nuevamente estamos a días de comenzar una nueva edición de Art Marbella. Como siempre, estamos llenos de entusiasmo e ilusión. El tercer año es un momento crucial para una feria de arte, ya que es el año de la consolidación y del despegue del proyecto. Por eso sentimos que el desafío en el 2017 supera a los anteriores. Con la generosa ayuda de un comité integrado por María Baró, Pedro Carreras y Carles Taché hemos sido capaces de integrar nuevas galerías que, junto a las que repiten, ofrecerán una variedad y una diversidad que consideramos vital para el éxito de Art Marbella. A esta selección de galerías se suman varios proyectos especiales, como la presentación mundial del nuevo proyecto sobre el Central Park de Nueva York de Dionisio González, la exhibición del trabajo de Lita Cabellut por primera vez en el sur de España, y el debut en ferias de una artista de proximidad, (en este caso de Sotogrande), como María Carrión. Estamos muy contentos con la presencia del Ayuntamiento de Genalguacil, un pueblo museo en la Serranía de Ronda que desarrolla un magnífico trabajo de promoción del arte contemporáneo, y con nuestra asociación con Starlite, sin dudas el evento de mayor popularidad en la ciudad de Marbella. El trabajo de promoción y difusión de la feria ha seguido creciendo. Art Marbella ya se ha establecido como EL evento cultural de la ciudad, lo que nos llena de orgullo y nos impone una responsabilidad permanente. Hemos invitado a la feria a más de 100 coleccionistas de todo el mundo y esto nos asegura a priori el éxito en público y en ventas. Art Marbella es un “lugar de negocios”, como lo debe ser toda feria que se precie, pero también es un lugar de encuentro, de descubrimiento, de aprendizaje y de docencia. Y este año, como nunca, esto se verá cuando abramos las puertas. DIONISIO GONZALEZ: THINKING CENTRAL PARK

Central Park is essentially a void. A 4000 x 800-metre void. It was conceived on the basis of an idea of spatiality where density was to be developed, but it is the density of the buildings of Manhattan, in their hyperdevelopmentalism, that has traced out that recreational rectangle for the dispersion of homo faber. That is, the park is a void because it works as a courtyard inside the urban prisonization. Urban planning imprisoned by the circulation of goods and the needs of capital inside the disciplinary city. The city calls for constructive evolution, however much its natural drift may tend towards the informational city, or else it turns into archaeological territory. Within it, the void, the residual and the excess are spaces for opportunity. Leonardo Lippolis tells us how the void is also a space of the possible. How the absence of a limit suggests a hope of mobility and nomadism, of free time and freedom, where that which is full is organised in accordance with the demands of 14

l Central Park es en esencia un vacío. Un vacío de 4000 x 800 metros. Fue concebido a partir de una idea de espacialidad donde se desarrollara el espesor, pero ha sido el espesor de los edificios de Manhattan en su hiperdesarrollismo el que ha dibujado ese rectángulo lúdico para la dispersión del homo faber. Es decir, el parque es un vacío porque funciona como patio dentro de la carcelización urbana. Urbanismo recluso de la circulación de mercancías y las necesidades del capital dentro de la ciudad disciplinaria. La ciudad requiere evolución constructiva, por más que su deriva natural sea la ciudad informacional, de no ser así deviene en territorio arqueológico. Dentro de ella, lo vacío, lo residual o lo excedente son espacios para la oportunidad. Leonardo Lippolis nos indica como el vacío es también espacio de lo posible. Como la ausencia de un límite sugiere una esperanza de movilidad y nomadismo, de tiempo libre y libertad, allá donde lo lleno se organiza según las exigencias del funcionalismo. functionalism. Landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and the architect Calvert Vaux designed Central Park as part of what was called the Greensward Plan in 1857. But to summon up the void, it was necessary to expropriate lands and evict small communities of AfroAmericans and German and Irish immigrants who lived in modest districts of Manhattan such as Seneca or Harsenville. We should ask ourselves why, behind a public project, there is always an initial period of expulsion and devastation. Why the intermediate – in this case small communities - or the primary or the geological are not operated on as bases for creation. Not only to negotiate them, but to incorporate them as models of identity into the course of that design. Walter Benjamin said thatThe labyrinth is the right path for the person who always arrives early enough at his destination. This destination is the marketplace. As early as in 1939, Benjamin foresaw that the metropolis was the melancholic proscenium on which the twilight of a dying civilisation prostrates itself. With the help of the exiled lnstitut für Sozialforschung ofFrankfurt, he managed to obtain an American visa, and began making plans to meet up with Adorno, Horkheimer and other members in New York, naming a text he was working on Central Park, in anticipation of his settling in the United States. A destiny he would never come to fulfil. In 1972, five months before his death, Robert Smithson wrote the article Frederick Law Olmsted and the dialectical landscape. In it, Smithson analyses Central Park, tracing a route through the urban and the natural as a moving mass, instability as a medium, and the spontaneous as the lure for opportunity. Smithson reminds us that Olmsted is a precursor of dialectic materialism applied to the physical landscape. That is to say, 16

Pero para convocar al vacío hubo que expropiar terrenos y desahuciar a pequeñas comunidades de afroamericanos e inmigrantes alemanes e irlandeses que vivían en modestas localidades de Manhattan como Séneca o Harsenville. Habría que preguntarse por qué detrás de un proyecto público siempre hay un período inicial de expulsión y devastación. Por qué no se opera con lo intermedio, en este caso pequeñas comunidades, o con lo primario o lo geológico como bases para la creación. No sólo para sortearlas sino para incorporarlas como modelos de identidad al curso de esa proyectación. Walter Benjamin decía que el laberinto es sin duda el camino correcto para quien quiere llegar pronto a la meta. Porque dicha meta es el mercado. Benjamin ya preveía en 1939 que la metrópolis era el proscenio melancólico en el que se postra el ocaso de una civilización moribunda. Con la ayuda del exilado lnstitut für Sozialforschung de Frankfurt consiguió un visado norteamericano, comenzó a hacer planes para reunirse con Adorno, Horkheimer y otros miembros en Nueva York, y tituló un texto en el que estaba trabajando “Central Park”, previendo su establecimiento en Estados Unidos. Destino que nunca llegaría a alcanzar. Robert Smithson en 1972, cinco meses antes de su muerte, por su parte, escribiría el artículo “Frederick Law Olmsted y el paisaje dialéctico”. En él, Smithson analiza el Central Park, traza un recorrido por: lo urbano y lo natural como una masa movediza, la inestabilidad como soporte, y lo espontáneo como el reclamo para la oportunidad. Smithson nos recuerda que Olmsted es un precursor del materialismo dialéctico aplicado al paisaje físico. Es decir, dicha dialéctica comprende que el objeto no puede ser interpretado de forma aislada sino en una multiplicidad de asociaciones. Porque para la dialéctica, la

this dialectic understands that the object cannot be interpreted in isolated form, but in a multiplicity of associations. Because for dialectics, nature is indifferent to any formal ideal. In another sense, says the author, Olmsted’s parks exist before they are finished, which means in fact they are never finished; they remain carriers of the unexpected and of contradiction on all levels of human activity, be it social, political or natural. Within this multiplicity of relationships, Holden Caulfield, Salingers famous character from The Catcher in the Rye, repeatedly inquires: You know those ducks in that lagoon right near Central Park South? That little lake? By any chance, do you happen to know where they go, the ducks, when it gets all frozen over? Do you happen to know, by any chance? A question that is doubtless posed by association, as in the story De DaumierSmiths Blue Period Salinger writes The most singular difference between happiness and joy is that happiness is a solid and joy a liquid. Mark David Chapman had heard John Lennon sing –Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can. Later, through the Los Angeles Times and New York Daily News magazine Esquire, he found out about Lennons possessions: the house in Palm Beach, the 19-metre yacht moored in Long Island or the mansion with a sloping roof in Cold Spring Harbor. As a result he felt he was a hypocrite, an impostor, and he wanted to cleanse his fictions. And to do so, he devoted himself to one of them - Holden Caufield - and decided to embark upon a misinterpreted paperback novel. So on 8th December 1980, he emptied the cartridge of his revolver, shooting the singer in the doorway of his home, the Dakota building, opposite Central Park. Mark David Chapman 18

Mark David Chapman había escuchado a John Lennon cantar: Imaginaos que no existen las posesiones, no es difícil de imaginar. Más tarde conoció por medio de la revista Esquire, del diario Los Ángeles Times y el New York Daily News, las posesiones de Lennon: la casa de playa en Palm Beach, el yate de 19 metros de eslora amarrado en Long Island o la enorme casa de tejado abuhardillado en Cold Spring Harbor. Fruto de eso lo consideró un hipócrita, un impostor y quiso purificar sus ficciones. Para ello se consagró a una de ellas: Holden Caulfield y decidió embarcarse en una malinterpretada novela de bolsillo. Así el 8 de Diciembre de 1980 vació el cargador de su revolver disparando al cantante en la puerta de su domicilio, el edificio Dakota frente al Central Park. Mark David Chapman había comprado un nuevo ejemplar del Guardián entre el Centeno y lo releyó poco antes de cometer el crimen, lo hojeó inmediatamente

had bought a new copy of The Catcher in the Rye and re-read it shortly before committing the crime; he leafed through it immediately after shooting the musician. He also read an excerpt of the escapades of Holden Caulfield to the jury in the trial he faced. From Smithsons dialectical viewpoint, in the manner of Frederick Law Olmsted or Uvedale Price, one would think that it all formed part of the park and its infinite connections. Just as the memorial perpetuating John Lennon does, in one of his favourite spots for walking in Central Park, opposite the Dakota building, called Strawberry Fields after the Beatles song. Also dialectical are the flowers Lady Gaga offered up to John Lennon at the memorial, placing them on the mosaic symbolising Imagine. Without a doubt the dialectical landscape includes the penthouse at number 40 South Park Central for which Lady Gaga pays220,000 dollars a month. Dialectical too is the maisonette located opposite Salingers or Caulfields duck lagoon, roughly where Benjamin and his complete Passages should have lived. Based on 4 visions of Central Park: Walter Benjamin, Robert Smithson, J. D. Salinger and Lady Gaga, the idea of the refuge is proposed as a monument and aerial extension of the park by way of a dialectical resource. The photographic series Thinking Central Park presents small constructive actions in the park that operate as cabins or huts which, as Bachelard pointed out, constituted centred solitude. The series Dialectical Landscape, in black and white, seeks a radical conception of the urban landscape. In turn, it is a tribute to Smithson, who had a passion for orthophotographs and aerial views from where one contemplates the movements of the earth and the transformation of territory.

Al igual que lo conforma el memorial que perpetúa a John Lennon en una de sus áreas favoritas de paseo en el Central Park, frente al edificio Dakota, llamada “Strawberry Fields” e inspirada en la canción de los Beatles. Dialécticas son también las flores que Lady Gaga ofreció a John Lennon en el memorial posándolas sobre el mosaico que postula “Imagine”. El paisaje dialéctico sin duda comprende el ático del número 40 de South Park Central por el que Lady Gaga paga 220.000 dólares al mes. Dialéctico es que el dúplex se encuentre frente al lago de los patos de Salinger o Caulfield, aproximadamente donde debieran haber residido Benjamin y su “finalizado” Libro de los Pasajes.
A partir de 4 miradas del Central Park: Walter Benjamin, Robert Smithson, J. D. Salinger y Lady Gaga se propone la idea del refugio como monumento y la prolongación aérea del parque como recurso dialéctico. La serie fotográfica “Thinking Central Park” presenta pequeñas “acciones” constructivas en el parque que operan como cabinas o cabañas que, como señalara Bachelard, constituyen la soledad centrada. La serie Dialectical Landscape, en blanco y negro, pretende una ideación radical del paisaje urbano. Es, a su vez, un homenaje a Smithson al que le apasionaban las ortofotografías y las vistas aéreas desde donde contemplar los movimientos de tierra y la transformación del territorio.

B-10 Venezuela is going through one of the most dramatic political crises in its recent history. A war, initiated with a powerful populist project, where Chávez pretended to empower the marginalised classes. This project, beautiful and necessary at the time, proved to be utopian and turned into a resounding failure that plunged the country into an unprecedented catastrophe. At this moment, people are on the streets, regardless of whether they are poor or rich, lean left or right, with only one objective: the end of the humanitarian crisis. Bloody times, with almost 100 dead and 3,000 political prisoners in the last cycle of daily protests, without and apparent path towards conciliation. It would be naïve to think that an artistic project could change this tragedy. Yet a visual exercise is possible that resists the strategies of disappearance implemented by the state in the process of shaping contemporary Venezuela. What is happening in Venezuelan art circles? In what ways has the Chávez period affected the production of images, the research by our artists and the circuit of galleries and museums? What is the generation of artists and curators that were forced into exile doing? This project opens a window on these questions, 80

Venezuela está atravesando una de las crisis políticas más dramáticas de su historia contemporánea. Una guerra, iniciada con un potente proyecto populista, donde Chavez pretendía el empoderamiento de las clases marginadas. Ese proyecto, bello y necesario en el momento, quedó en utopías, y hoy es un fracaso rotundo que ha sumergido al país en una catástrofe sin precedentes. En este momento, el pueblo está en las calles, sin diferenciar entre pobres o ricos, izquierda o derecha, solo con un objetivo: La salida a la crisis humanitaria. Tiempos de sangre, con casi 100 muertos y 3000 presos políticos desde el día que comenzó el más reciente ciclo de protestas diarias, y sin una salida aparente para la conciliación. Sería inocente pensar que un proyecto artístico puede cambiar esa tragedia. Pero sí es posible un ejercicio visual que haga resistencia a las estrategias de desaparición que ha implementado el estado de cara a la creación contemporánea Venezolana. Qué esta pasando en el circuito del arte Venezolano? De qué manera el período Chávez afectó la producción de imágenes, las investigaciones de nuestros artistas y el circuito de galerías y museos? evidencing certain visual codes that allow us to read how art can respond to these dynamics. We are talking about marginal aesthetics that are not represented in in the museum collections, artists that do not exist for the State for reason of having been accused of dissidents, but dissidents against what? In these works of art we can see a cultural process similar to that generated in Venezuelan culture: resistance to the dream of modern progress, valuation of precarious aesthetics, the ranch, the unfinished, resistance to doctrine, resistance to Cuban influence. We believe it urgent, not just necessary, to take distance from any blind faith, any ideological position, any construction of a story that attempts to sustain itself by force, any violence, any label, any prejudice, any dead. BIO: Independent curator, exiled in Paris. Formed in architecture, museum studies and art in the Universidad Central de Venezuela and in Paris 8. His main areas of research are focused on electronic art and performance, with particular emphasis on exhibition and the preservation of vintage Media Art. Since 2013 he collaborates with the Nicolas Schôffer collection, where he has focused on classifying and exhibiting the artist’s immaterial work, (pioneer of cybernetic art since 1954). He also works on the creation of a platform for the promotion of Media Art by latin artists in Europe. With experience in the conception of cultural institutions in marginal communities, he was founding director of the scuat MUEM (Museon of the State of Miranda), and the Mateo Manaure Museum (15,000 m2). He has more than 25 exhibitions in Europe and Venezuela, among them the Venezuelan Pavillion at the Venice Architecure Biennale 2016, Eduardo Kac.

Este proyecto abre una ventana sobre esas preguntas, dejando en evidencia algunos códigos visuales que nos dejan leer como el arte puede responder a estas dinámicas. Estamos hablando de estéticas marginales, que no están representadas en las colecciones de los museos, artistas que no existen para el estado por ser acusados de disidentes, pero disidentes a qué? En estas obras podemos ver un proceso cultural parecido al generado en la cultura de los venezolanos: resistencia al sueño de progreso moderno, valoración de estética precaria, el rancho, lo inconcluso, resistencia a la doctrina, resistencia a la cubanización. Nos parece no necesario, sino urgente un cierto distanciamiento ante cualquier fe ciega, cualquier postura ideológica, cualquier construcción de relato que intente sostenerse por la fuerza, cualquier violencia, cualquier etiqueta, cualquier prejuicio, cualquier muerto. BIO: Comisario independiente, exiliado en Paris. Formación de arquitectura, museología y arte en la Universidad Central de Venezuela y en Paris 8. Su investigaciones fundamentales están centradas en artes electrónicas y el performance, con un acento particular en exhibición y preservación del vintage Media Art. Sophie von Hanau born into an Austrian / German family. She was raised in Marbella and Miami. She attained her BA in psychology in 2004, and then went on to another degree, and studied photography at the ‘School of Black and White Photography’ in London. Believing that psychology is the window into the world and into human behavior, she began to merge this knowledge with her passion for photography, capturing the very moment that she wished to analyze. She held her first photography exhibition on Sloane Street in London in 2006. Sophie von Hanau is an established artist, who has had solo exhibitions across the world, and has taken part at some of the worlds largest contemporary art fairs. Such as SCOPE Miami Beach. 112
Her work already forms part of some very important collections. Her travels take her to Tanzania, Africa, since 2007 where the Sophie von Hanau Foundation funds several ongoing projects. www.svhf.com “I go where my heart sends me, and I help where I can.” She donates a generous amount of the proceeds from her sales to these projects. Sophie has also collaborated with UNICEF this year, traveling to South Sudan in order to document the atrocities of this 4 year long civil war. Preparations of an exhibition with UNICEF are underway.

(Sariñena, 1961) is a multidisciplinar spanish artist that works with óleum on canvas, drawings on paper, sculpture, photography, poetry, visual poems and videos. Her origin is ghipsy, she was raised in Barcelona and lives in La Haya since she was 19 years old. She is recognized by her paintings, she works with canvas of big size using a characteristical contemporary variation of the fresco technique. In 2011 she received the Arts and Painting Prize of the Ghypsy Culture Institut due to her dedicated work to ghypsy culture around the globe. In 2015 she was considered by the specialized magazine Artprice as one of the contemporary artists most valued of the world, situating her at the number 333 just behind Miquel Barceló and Juan Muñoz from the “top 500”, becoming the most valued spanish woman artist. 126

Carrión inspires herself in the effects of light on the sea. Forms from the nature imperceptibly appear on stage ignored by the naked eye. Isolated from their environment through the photographic camera and coated by pictoric value, these forms that belong to the ordinary, suddenly make an extraordinary sense. The characteristics of the materials - their luminocity and ductility - define also the contents of the works. It is about a confluence of sensitive paradoxes: the intangible on the physical; the invisible on the visible; the eternal on the transient. At the same time, through the structure, and iconography of her works, the artist make alusion to a long tradicion of Christian Art, recovering pictorical models as the retablum and symbolic motives like the fish. In this way the artist tries to reconciliate the historical dialogue between the arts and the Christian faith with the contemporary culture. 128
Carrión se inspira en los efectos de la luz sobre el mar. Aparecen en escena formas presentes en la naturaleza pero imperceptibles o ignoradas por el ojo desnudo. Aisladas de su entorno por medio de la cámara fotográfica y revestidas de valor pictórico, estas formas, que pertenecen a lo ordinario, de pronto cobran un sentido extraordinario. Las propiedades de los materiales su luminosidad y ductilidad definen también el contenido de las obras. GENALGUACIL PUEBLO MUSEO
D-04 Genalguacil, museum town of Malaga province, situated 30km from Estepona at Genal Valley, is one of the little towns with just five hundred habitants which conforms the Ronda’s sierra. Its peculiar urban structure, heritage of the previous Arab population, is escalonated, adapting itself to the sharp terrain that has held it down for centuries. Distinguishing itself among the green of the valley stands the white hamlet decorated with pieces of art. The town hall has organized the biannual Meetings of Art of the Genal Valley, with great success due to the high quality of the pieces exposed and the concurrency of participants, becoming the stage for a creative experience where life and nature merge in coexistence and a cooperation space. The pieces that are placed permanently on squares and streets are converting the town in an open-air museum. There are more than a hundred painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramists, from different nationalities, who left their imprint by showing their sculptures to open air or expose their work at the principal museum, that is about to open. As a result streets and corners, squares and nooks, walls and ceilings have turned Genalguacil in an authentic sculptures forest and open-air museum.

Genalguacil, “pueblo museo” de la provincia de Málaga, situado a 30 Km de Estepona en el Valle del Genal, es una de las pequeñas poblaciones con apenas quinientos habitantes que conforman la Serranía de Ronda. Su peculiar estructura urbana, herencia de los pobladores árabes que dieron origen a la villa, se escalona adaptándose al empinado terreno que desde hace centenares de años lo acoge, distinguiéndose entre el verde del valle su blanco caserío adornado de obras de arte. Con carácter bianual, el Ayuntamiento organiza los “Encuentros de Arte” del Valle del Genal, de gran éxito por la calidad de piezas expuestas y la afluencia de participantes, convirtiéndose en el escenario de una experiencia creativa donde el arte, vida y naturaleza se funden en un espacio participativo de cooperación y convivencia. Las piezas, colocadas con carácter permanente en las plazas y calles, están convirtiendo el pueblo en un museo al aire libre. Ya son más de un centenar de pintores, escultores, fotógrafos y ceramistas de distintas nacionalidades, los que han dejado su impronta exponiendo sus esculturas al aire libre cediendo su obra para el ser expuesta en el Museo Municipal de próxima inauguración. El resultado es calles y esquinas, plazas o rincones, paredes o tejados de Genaguacil han convertido la localidad en un auténtico museo al aire libre y un bosque de esculturas.

Barcelona: I was obsessed with two towns Barcelona and New York: with 16 years I asked (to my father) to let me go to New York, but he got scared; in Barcelona I decided to study architecture and I had professors that understood that what I liked more was to paint. Dali:I used to see him painting and I said: ¡Good Heaven!; he used to speak with me a lot about the sea, about how to paint it and I learned technical aspects. He was attached to me because I was “well educated”; he said: “Canary ¿Would you come with me to Paris?” and I went. Mexico: I was marked by the light, the concept of life and death. New York: a place you love the first day or you hate for ever, I said: ¡This is a beauty! and I stayed living there. Literatura:mi casa es una biblioteca, la literatura ha tenido una enorme influencia en mí. Música: Cuixart decía que mi pintura le recordaba a la música de Prokofiev y, tras escucharla, dije: sí, en mi obra hay algo de esto. Blanco:al pintar sobre la sombra, el blanco brilla y aparece como la luz que surge de la oscuridad. Convicción:lo que necesita el ser humano es elegancia, convicción en lo que hace, en lo que siente; estar totalmente entregado a lo que hace.

ARTIKA is a publishing company focused on the realization of artistic projects such as limited and numbered editions great artist books. Far from being conventional books are valuable works of art whose unique design is inspired or designed by the artist himself. Artika becomes the trend of books as works of art a reality, betting on exclusivity in their editions, numbering them and limiting them to a few copies that are notarized. All these works are directly made by the artist himself, who signs each of the works, or copublished with the highest authorities of his works (museums and foundations), which authenticates his seal each of the prints that compose it. Other artists have previously been published Salvador Dalí, Francisco de Goya, Eduardo Chillida, Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, Vincent van Gogh, Antonio Saura, Joan Miró, Miquel Barceló and Jaume Plensa.

Lejos de ser libros convencionales, son valiosas obras de arte cuyo diseño exclusivo está inspirado o diseñado por el propio artista. Artika convierte la tendencia de los libros como obra de arte en una realidad, apostando por la exclusividad en sus ediciones, numerándolas y limitándolas a unos pocos ejemplares que están certificados ante notario. Todas estas obras están realizadas directamente por el propio artista, que firma cada una de las obras, o en coedición con las máximas autoridades de sus obras (museos y fundaciones), que autentifican con su sello cada una de las láminas que la componen.
