HISTORY & HERITAGE The heritage of the WANSON Group, was first started by Leon Wanson in 1949 for the production of small to medium output industrial boilers, water treatment equipment and industrial air heaters. A successful company that expanded over the years in France, Europe and the World and then integrated with Babcox and Wilcox to form an industrial conglomerate under the name of Babcock Wanson. An international organization with three prime manufacturing facilities (in Italy, France and Morocco) plus other engineering and assembly plants. Wishing to continue in his grandfathers footsteps François and Mercedes Duerinckx started The Art Wanson Gallery, based in Marbella and Valencia. Today with representation in other countries, Doha, Paris, London, Sao Paulo and opening market in Russia, Asia and Morocco The emblem of the “buffalo” that once used to adorn the factories of his grandfather is now reborn. Art Wanson Group is a dedicated family of individuals whose aim and philosophy is the creation of excellence in Art, Design and Architecture

Leon Wanson founded the Wanson Group in 1949. Their international engineering organization began in Belgium and with Leon Wanson’s energy and commitment he expanded in to France, Italy and Morocco and over the years in to thirty other countries worldwide. Wishing to continue the family tradition of excellence, Francois & Mercedes Duerincks created tThe Art Wanson Galleries and The Art Wanson Group. Their prestigious galleries are in Marbella, Valencia and Doha with representation in Paris, Monaco, London and San Paulo. The Wanson Group are also expanding their interest in the Russian and Asian market. The outstanding collections of the gallery are very unique and comprehensive with art from Europe, Arabia, North America and Asia. Works include sculpture, archive photography, textiles, ceramics, metal works and precious jewellery. Art Wanson represents diverse groups of internationally acclaimed artists including fine Masters such as Picasso, Lichtenstein, Giacometti, Dali, Bacon ,Warhol ..Wanson also supports and promotes young and emerging artists worldwide. Art Wanson is also dedicated , to historical and scholarly museumquality exhibitions is accompanied by a strong commitment to the art of the 21st century and beyond With Wanson´s knowledge and experience they are able to offer advice to major corporations and companies enabling them to strengthen their corporate image in either a cultural or commercial capacity through art.
