Get to know landlord and be a good tenant. Visit your our OFFICE for help • Pay your rent on time and, if for some reason you can’t, let the landlord know. SAFETY
Know your surroundings and your environment because you are responsible for your own safety and well-being. As always, use your common sense. You might also consider the following suggestions: • Be alert of vehicles or persons following you into a garage or parking lot. • Refer unknown or suspicious individuals to the building management and/or police. • Let your property management know when your apartment will be vacant – for holidays or otherwise. • Make arrangements with your neighbors or the management NORTHPOINTE to receive deliveries. APARTMENTS • Ask to install a wide-angle peep-hole. • Do not open the door to strangers. • Secure any sliding balcony doors with a “Charley Bar,” or place a length of wood on the bottom track. • Lock your vehicle and don’t leave anything valuable in it. • Don’t place hidden keys outside your home.

NEIGHBORS To get respect, you must give it. Living off campus is different than living on campus. Your neighbors may not be UA students. Be a respectful and good neighbor. • Get to know your neighbor(s). • Be mindful of noise levels. • Keep the property clean.
