Engineering Top-mounted gearbox, motor assembly and double-acting disc brake are
housed in a watertight aluminum extrusion. Lifting is achieved through a hardened, ball-bearing screw nut assembly
suspended from the top of the column. Security devices are built into the electrical system, which stops the lift
from operating in case of an electrical failure or overload. The main control box has an electronic phase sequence relay that
automatically checks the rotation of the motors and adjusts accordingly.
Additionally, if one phase is cutoff, the system will stop automatically. Insulated inter-connecting cables are finished in OHSA safety colors. The slim design allows optimum visibility in shop.

Information:
Lifting Systems Intended Use ARI-HETRA’s MODEL HDML-8-4-W is built on the same stout platform as our HDML-8 Model except that it has a carriage width of 27 in. and can handle oversized tires. This wide-body carriage engages tires on the vehicle while it sits flat on the ground. This eliminates the time required to elevate the tires when engaging with a standard carriage.

Lifting Systems ARI-HETRA’s FL Lifting System uses a ramp and contact pad with two HDML lifting posts* to gain access to the underside of short wheelbase industrial vehicles. Preventive maintenance, lubrication, repair and parts replacement are made easier and safer with the vehicle raised.

Lifting Systems ARI-HETRA’s Model FL-3 Forklift Adapter is a mobile lifting system that, when used with two HDML columns, provides easy under-vehicle access for counterbalance lift trucks (four-wheel forklift).
Intended Use For use with four-wheel lift trucks with a wheelbase of 76 in. or less*. The forklift is driven onto platform ramps with the center of gravity over the center component (drive-over pads). SELF-EVACUATING WASTE OIL DRAIN ARI-HETRA’s Model WOD-25 Self-Evacuating Waste Oil Drain is a heavy-duty, portable waste oil drain that evacuates its 25 gallon capacity in less than 2 minutes without the use of a pump. The WOD-25 features a large telescoping funnel with a full-extended height of 63 in.. A separate dolly with swivel castor wheels make the unit easy to maneuver. The unit is simple to use. Make a camloc connection to the supplied hose on the waste oil bulk tank, then connect the air supply and the system does the rest. A unique floating ball check-valve is the heart of the system. It allows oil to enter, but seals the container for evacuation the moment air is connected.
Intended Use Clean and environmentally safe removal of waste engine oil, transmission and differential oil in vehicles being serviced on a lift.

The ARI-1000 uses smaller ducting, hoses and tailpipe exhaust clamps to better match the volume of exhaust. With the Aluminum Slotted Suction Ducting System, the hose reels and trolleys are mobile and can easily be used in different bays. The high volume of exhaust that is produced by these vehicles makes it necessary to have a larger ducting system. This system has larger exhaust hoses with larger clamping devices. Hose Reel EXTRACTION SYSTEMS ARI-HETRA’s Exhaust Extraction System’s hose reels offer one of the most convenient methods available for extracting and removing harmful exhaust fumes and gases. All reels carry a length of high quality exhaust hose on a drum, fixed at high levels, which can be unwound when required and attached to the vehicle’s exhaust using a clamping nozzle. Specialty Custom Design Pollution from fumes, gas and dust is a serious problem in an enclosed shop environment. Most welding fume particles are not respirable, and can be comprised of up to 80% sub micron-sized particles. Why Is Nitrogen Better Than Oxygen For Tire Inflation? Information:
Wheel Service Air Usage Oxygen molecules are small enough to escape through the tire wall, thereby causing premature wear, rubber oxidation and under-inflated tires.
Less Pressure Loss Small air molecules pass through the sidewalls of tires, thus causing pressure to drop. Nitrogen has a larger molecular structure than oxygen and does not permeate the sidewalls as rapidly. Therefore, tires maintain inflation and vehicles operate on more stable pressures. Reduced Tire Corrosion & Improved Retreadability As air passes through the sidewalls, it prematurely ages the rubber and comes in contact with steel cords, causing them to rust. When non-corrosive nitrogen is used, no oxygen passes through the sidewalls so less rubber aging and tire cord rust will occur. This results in a higher proportion of retreadable casings, casings that can last through more retread cycles, cutting cost per mile. Longer Tread Life Tests have shown that maintaining consistent inflation pressure may lengthen a tire’s tread life of up to 26%. In addition, nitrogen generates less heat than oxygen resulting in cooler running tires, which helps extend tread life.
Nitrogen Usage Molecules in N2 are too large to escape through the tire wall like oxygen, thus keeping your tires inflated longer and avoiding the pitfalls of air-filled tires.
Improved Fuel Economy Properly inflated tires have reduced rolling resistance. This can lead to fuel consumption improvements of up to 4%. Improved Safety Nitrogen reduces the risk of self-ignition and tire blowout as a result of less pressure loss and cooler running tires. Better pressure retention also improves vehicle handling.

System components for all our floor jacks are constructed using technologically advanced machinery designed to achieve the highest level of precision. Extensions are fabricated using high-quality steel with chrome coating on the external sliding parts, while the pneumatic parts are treated with an anti-corrosion process. The hydraulic circuit, built with holes inside the cylinder structure, guarantees a perfect seal against oil leaks. The rod scrapers prevent dust and other foreign matters from damaging the cylinder. The built-in safety valves eliminate accidental overloads and also prevent the load from dropping during an air-pressure loss. A two-position lever on the handle controls the raising as well as the pneumatic vacuum descent of the jack. ON-VEHICLE BRAKE SHOE LATHE WS-BL500
ARI-HETRA’s Model WS-BL500 is designed to turn brake shoes on heavy-duty trucks, buses and light commercial vehicles. This brake lathe operates directly on the vehicle without removing the shoe, saving you time and producing a truly aligned brake shoe. This lathe can operate on reduction hub axles as well as conventional axles. By measuring the internal diameter of the drum, it allows you to cut and obtain perfect contact between the shoes and drum for full braking efficiency. Positioning the lathe on the hub is quick and easy.

Information:
Wheel Service ARI-HETRA’s Model WS-BL1500 Brake Lathe is designed to turn drums, rotors and flywheels of trucks, buses and light commercial vehicles. This lathe makes it possible to turn heavy-duty truck drums with the dual-wheels and hubs still mounted as the lathe is equipped with a stout 2 in. spindle. No outboard support is necessary. Various operations are made possible with this versatile machine. The lathe works with a digital rheostat which allows continuous variation of the spindle’s revolutions. The speed of the spindle’s revolution can be adjusted at any time to react to the condition of the drum, rotor surface or the vibration level. With this feature, cutting time can be optimized without negative effects on the surface of the drum or rotor. ARI-HETRA can also supply a cutting tool for flywheels.

ARI-HETRA’s model WS-RP97 is designed to simplify and speed up riveting operations for any kind of truck and light commercial vehicle. The shoe is positioned and clamped to the machine. The operator uses an ergonomic “two hand” activated gun for comfortable operation. The WS-RP97 is powerful, quiet and easy to use. The machine is powered by an oil-dynamic piston which is activated by the “two hand” device located on the gun. The gun is held and balanced on a pneumatic cylinder. The design allows the operator to easily work on double-rip shoes.
