Engineering Top-mounted gearbox, motor assembly and double-acting disc brake are housed in a watertight aluminum extrusion. Lifting is achieved through a hardened, ball-bearing screw nut assembly suspended from the top of the column. Security devices are built into the electrical system, which stops the lift from operating in case of an electrical failure or overload. The slim design allows optimum visibility in shop.

This wide-body carriage engages tires on the vehicle while it sits flat on the ground. This eliminates the time required to elevate the tires when engaging with a standard carriage. The sliding crosspiece is air-hydraulic, complete with four caster wheels for trouble-free movement while on the ground. Features Equipped with two independent air-hydraulic cylinders. Its compact frame makes it ideal for installation inside vans for mobile tire service. Once the tire changer is installed inside the van, it easily and quickly tilts outside the van, creating a comfortable and versatile work area, where the operating arm and clamping chuck arm move and lift tires with a max. width of up to 34 in., and a max. diameter of up to 63 in.

All Day, Everyday This tire changer has been designed as an ergonomic alternative to traditional methods of tire replacement by hand. By using this machine a technician can safely change many tires a day, a week, a year with little wear and tear on their body. This tire changer helps reduce the need for workman’s compensation claims by taking the “grunt” work out of tire changing. ARI-HETRA’s Model WS-BL1500 Brake Lathe is designed to turn drums, rotors and flywheels of trucks, buses and light commercial vehicles. This lathe makes it possible to turn heavy-duty truck drums with dual-wheels and hubs still mounted. The lathe is equipped with a stout 50 mm diameter arbor shaft so no outboard support is necessary. The lathe works with a digital rheostat which allows continuous variation of the spindle’s revolutions. The speed of the spindle’s revolution can be adjusted at any time to react to the condition of the drum, rotor surface or the vibration level. With this feature, cutting time can be optimized without negative effects on the surface of the drum or rotor. HEAVY-DUTY KING PIN PRESS The KPP-143 presses out steering knuckle king pins and spring pin bushings on trucks and buses. Its front wheel dollies, adjustable press frame, and pneumatic lift and return stroke makes it easy to maneuver and set up around all potential obstacles. The KPP-143 has a responsive hand pump that drastically reduces risk of damage that could occur to the vehicle’s components. All of these features complimented by its 143,000 lb. of compression force make it an efficient and effective pressing tool for changing king pins and spring-pin bushings on heavy-duty vehicles.
