Engineering Top-mounted gearbox, motor assembly and double-acting disc brake are housed in a watertight aluminum extrusion. Lifting is achieved through a hardened, ball-bearing screw nut assembly suspended from the top of the column. Security devices are built into the electrical system, which stops the lift from operating in case of an electrical failure or overload. The main control box has an electronic phase sequence relay that automatically checks the rotation of the motors and adjusts accordingly. Additionally, if one phase is cutoff, the system will stop automatically. Insulated inter-connecting cables are finished in OHSA safety colors. The slim design allows optimum visibility in shop.

ARI-HETRA’s new 24 Volt system utilizes dual industrial strength batteries and a Patented hybrid power system. You can now use 110 Volt power to run your lifts. This system has been engineered to operate with maximum efficiency while reducing environmental impacts by providing and utilizing sustainable energy, and further contributes to eligibility for certification under LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System for existing buildings operations & maintenance. Power Saving After 2 minutes of inactivity, the lifts power down automatically to conserve energy.
Advance Hybrid System The downward inertia of a lowered vehicle is used to generate power, which is then restored to the batteries.

This wide-body carriage engages tires on the vehicle while it sits flat on the ground. This eliminates the time required to elevate the tires when engaging with a standard carriage. Lift Accessories ARI-HETRA’s Model WOD-25 Self-Evacuating Waste Oil Drain is a heavy-duty, portable waste oil drain that evacuates its 25 gallon capacity in less than 2 minutes without the use of a pump. The WOD-25 features a large telescoping funnel with a full-extended height of 63 in.. A separate dolly with swivel caster wheels make the unit easy to maneuver. The unit is simple to use. Make a camloc connection to the supplied hose on the waste oil bulk tank, then connect the air supply and the system does the rest. A unique floating ball check-valve is the heart of the system. After years of research, the EPA reports that short-term exposure to diesel exhaust fumes can cause irritation and inflammation of the lungs, worsen allergies and contribute to asthma.1
Most of the over two dozen well-designed worker studies found lung cancer increases in those exposed to diesel exhaust for over a decade.2
Other short-term effects of exposure
Light-headedness. Heartburn. Headache. Weakness. Chest tightness.
Wheezing. Vomiting. Irritation of eyes, nose and throat. Numbness and tingling in extremities.
What is the solution? The good news is, there is a successful way to keep workers breathing safe, healthy air. OSHA recommends the use of a source-capture device like ARI-HETRA’s Exhaust Extraction System. By removing vehicle emissions directly from the tailpipe, harmful fumes do not circulate through the building the way they do when using a ceiling exhaust fan or with open bay doors. HOSE REEL EXTRACTION SYSTEMS ARI-HETRA’s Exhaust Extraction hose reels offer one of the most convenient methods available for extracting and removing harmful exhaust fumes and gases. Pollution from fumes, gas and dust is a serious problem in an enclosed shop environment. Most welding fume particles are not breathable, and can be comprised of up to 80% sub micron-sized particles. Extensions are fabricated using high-quality steel with chrome coating on the external sliding parts, while the pneumatic parts are treated with an anti-corrosion process. The hydraulic circuit, built with holes inside the cylinder structure, guarantees a perfect seal against oil leaks. The rod scrapers prevent dust and other foreign matters from damaging the cylinder. The built-in safety valves eliminate accidental overloads and also prevent the load from dropping during an air-pressure loss. A two-position lever on the handle controls the raising as well as the pneumatic vacuum descent of the jack. The low profile frame makes it easy to position the jack, while the total tilting of the handle on the frame greatly reduces the jack’s dimensions, requiring less storage space. ARI-HETRA’s Model WS-BL1500 Brake Lathe is designed to turn drums, rotors and flywheels of trucks, buses and light commercial vehicles. This lathe makes it possible to turn heavy-duty truck drums with dual-wheels and hubs still mounted. The lathe is equipped with a stout 50 mm diameter arbor shaft so no outboard support is necessary. The lathe works with a digital rheostat which allows continuous variation of the spindle’s revolutions. The speed of the spindle’s revolution can be adjusted at any time to react to the condition of the drum, rotor surface or the vibration level.
