Celebrating The Finest Talent in Children’s Book Illustration Welcome to our showcase portfolio, featuring a taster of the incredible work being created by some of the most talented visual artists working in publishing today. From established fiction illustrators such as Aleksei Bitsoff to rising talent Euan Cook we are celebrating the versatility and burgeoning popularity of illustrated fiction and non-fiction. Since the Golden Age of Illustration, there has been a long tradition of beautiful imagery enhancing storytelling. With stunning editions of beloved classic tales illustrated by Levi Pinfold and Tomislav Tomic, to future classics such as Alex T. Smith’s haunting illustrations for Grave Matter, there is an increasingly evident desire for illustration in books for all ages. In the ultimate celebration of children’s literature Thomas Flintham’s The Baby Brother From Outer Space reached thousands of young readers Nationwide for World Book Day. Our illustrators’ fresh, spontaneous approach and talent for creating engaging characters continues to push the boundaries of middle-grade fiction. With Adam Stower’s charismatic guinea pig Piggy Handsome and Emily Fox’s debonair flamingo detective Fabio joining established series by Neal Layton, Steve May and Spike Gerrell. Capturing the imaginations of young readers as they take their first steps towards enjoying books independently has been made all the more magical with the increasing variety of highly illustrated series on offer.
